I do believe the Joplin tower st 32nd and Rangeline is being inspected. One guy with a white hard hat climbing up this morning.
-
So either power got boosted to an already on tower,or one near work just came on. But I am pulling 12m up and down at the Att call center parking lot. Was only getting maybe 1mbps this afternoon.
-
Sorry about the typo.

how did you get it to be LTE only? i have been curious about trying to do that, but never really looked into it a whole lot.
For a rooted EVO LTE you need to open the dialing pad, enter ##3282#
Tap on Edit Mode
Enter your phones MSL number
Tap on EVDO
Tap Preferred Mode
Select LTE only

You Joplin folks should start a Cell ID tracking sheet like the Austin and New Orelans members did. Then you can always know where you're connected.

May have to do just that. Would that be the BSID for the Cell towrs ID number?

I used a SignalCheck app to check the signal strength, signal was faily weak.
NOTE: My phone is rooted so I had it set to LTE only hence 1x and EV-DO showing no signal, was trying to get just pure LTE.

Now I am not so convinced the Flying J tower is online. Drove right by it and still only pulled about 2m down.
-
So I snagged this speed test coming home from the store tonight, about half a mile West of Flying J.
But when I got home, which is about another half mile away, it still hows the 4G icon, but am getting just over 3G speeds, about 2.8 down and 1.3 up inside the house.
Hope the crank up the power, boost the signal, something.

461 Has a pretty good reach, was leaving work for lunch, saw 4G. Ran a speedtest on the wifes phone, got about 11mbps down and about 9mbps up.

Update ! KC03RW401 (37.05667, -94.43667)Joplin, MO has been integrated today. Sent to sprint for Acceptance and Approval...
I live less than a mile from this tower, patiently awaiting my 4G icon to kick in.
-
I have also noticed it coming and going in Joplin.

No crews visable on any of the towers this morning. Will check again when I go home for lunch.

Looks like work is compleated on the 32nd & Rangeline tower now as well. No crews and the safety lines are secured to the tower.
Work continues on the Rangeline & Silvercreek tower.

6? There should only be 3.
Now that I found a few minutes of free time, the item in the circle is what I was, at least in my mind, calling a panel.
-
Wife would lose 3G around that area, but for some reason I never had an issue.
-
They had all panels off, for 2 days was just the mounting frames.
-
Well, three sides like a triangle. I guess if you call the pair on each side a panel I get that your saying.
-
Rangeline & Silvercreek finally has 2 of its 6 panels up.
And I believe that the E 32nd st tower is finished, no crews on it today.

Update ! KC03RW419 (37.17778, -94.36444) near brroklyn heights, Joplin,MO has passed ATP. Waiting for Sprint Approval...
WOOT!
I forgot to look at the E 32nd ST tower, but crews continue to work on both 32nd & Rangeline and Rangeline & Silvercreek.
-
Progress continues!
Crews continue to work on the two S. Rangeline Towers and the E. 32nd street tower.

Mapped some on the way home tonight, signal was not as strong as what I had this afternoon.
This is the speed test I got at around 2:45 this afternoon.
This is what I got outside of work around 7:00pm

Well that's good news! I can't imagine that it's one of the two being worked on on Range Line, they were not far enough along yesterday to be online today. Maybe by the end of the week. Wonder if it was the one on the northwest side of town that I found complete?
The one on 32nd near Flying J had all its pannels on and connected from what I could tell, but did have crews on it today.
Rangeline and 32nd had its pannels on, but as of Sunday where not conencted (could see the cabels hanging losely)
Rangeline and Silvercreek had maybe 2 or 3 panels on, had a guy or two on it, but the crain was not up, at least of this afternoon.
So if I had to guess id say they might have been testing the one by Flying J.

Was it in an area that's not mapped on Sensorly yet?
I had LTE all over east and south Joplin yesterday from the three towers (Web City, SW I-44, and S on Range Line) that are already on.
I can confirm was not an area previously mapped.
Will run Sensorly on the drive home tonight to see if its still on or not.
