Somebody's got to be first, somebody's got to be last.

Yeah man, I understand, its okay. I guess I just thought that some little country town would be "last" instead of one of the biggest metro areas in the state.

It will probably be included in the next launch. City is mainly done with just a handful of sites remaining. West KY had made huge progress in the past 6 weeks.

Which makes it ever sadder that the East side has gotten shafted.

You said 800 is starting to spin up there in louisville are you talking about 800lte or voice 800?
As far as I'm aware of its voice 800. LTE is still awhile away on 800 too.

Also I kind of figured we would be pretty much launched and close to finish by first of year. And what's your opinion or chances of that cause I was wanting to get a tri band phone just didn't know how long before we would actually get 800 and 2600.
800 is starting to spin up in the Louisville area. 2600 will still be awhile away still. Like years.

For those wondering, we are up to 17 sites that have LTE accepted in Louisville as of today. Locations are on the NV sites completed map here: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/517-nv-sites-complete/
East end and mid-east end is definitely getting neglected. Not cool!

Our tower in sellersburg (nine miles north of louisville) is on the water tower... And I noticed that they're painting the tower which means they removed all the sprint antennas and now have a cow (how now tall cow) parked beside the water tower. I wonder if they're going to put it back together with LTE... It'd be easier to assemble it on the ground I would think.
Based on history of some of the recent new towers in Louisville that is not a guarantee. Two new towers in Louisville there were put up in the last year was built with Legacy equipment rather than the new Network Vision. Keep an eye on it and if you can take a pic of the panels or the cabinets a member here can confirm it for you.

Network Vision/LTE - West Kentucky Market (Louisville, Evansville, Bowling Green)

There is a difference between having LTE and having usable LTE. For the most part, at least in my area, while I technically have LTE, the signal is so weak that it is not usable. Kind of annoying having to switch to 3G only mode. But hey, hopefully when its all done it will just be like having 3G... but faster. =)
