  1. I know that my post isn't related to the LTE rollout but I just purchased the Note 3 and for some reason the screen does not wake up when I receive a text. My brother also has the Note 3 but on T-Mobile and his screen lights up when he receives a text. I spoke to both Sprint and Samsung and none of them seem to be aware of the issue. Thoughts?

Probably awesome... Saves you some battery life. There are people who have custom ROMs to stop their phone from doing this... Rejoice!

  2. Does anyone have one of the new Spark enabled tri-band LTE phones yet? I know the G2 and Nexus 5 are compatible but they aren't officially activated for Spark yet.

I'm curious to know if there is any B41 LTE active in Orlando yet.

I know they haven't finished the original rollout yet but since we originally had Wimax and they are doing tower work already, maybe they're doing both now.

    One can dream...

I have the N5, I do notice that my n5 get a better LTE signal than my wife's HTC one

  3.

Fact: Sprint has far more work to do than MetroPCS does, and the Network Vision timeline reflects that much greater workload.

Metro actually has no work to do... All that they do is pay Verizon a premium for the spectrum that they use

  4. Hey guys, check this out. This guy tweeted me telling me he caught Sprint LTE over at Disney World in Orlando, and he told me it was very fast! FINALLY hope that we are starting to get LTE in this area now. Check out our conversation here and tell me what you think about the screenshots.

    This gave me a chubz

  5. Work has already started in the Orlando market. There is not any LTE currently in Orlando proper, but the market is underway, and LTE is already available on the coast, and will soon be in the city. A full scale launch may be 4 months away, but you should begin to see LTE signals within a few weeks.

You do realize you linked to this same thread? lol

  6. that may be within the realm of possibility, but I take anything from a sales rep with a grain of salt. Ericsson is the one doing the rollout, not Sprint.

^^what he said... I've learned that the inconvenient truth us that we the consumer usually know more then the sales reps.

  7. The city of Olando has a number of permits pulled but this is the only site that is indicating anything other then issued. "633 LAKE DOT CIR// Certificate of Appearance Review Issued// Removal of five (5) existing antennas and install three (3) new antennas"

That's not too far from me... maybe 2 1/2 miles
