Yay! The current antennas (Verizon, etc) on the water tower were proposed to the administration by me back when I was in HS! Glad to see Sprint catching up

30-40 megs. The dead zone in Woodman's has been fixed. In the store it was more like 10-15megs. Much Better then no service or 3G.
Awesome to see the pace of small cell deployments coming up! Now they just need to get them in the parking lots of every big box store so B41 doesn't cut out

That's a Verizon node setup for B2/4/5/13. T-Mobile often goes on those same poles with Verizon using Nokia Flexi Zones.
Thanks for the help! I'll be on the lookout for new Sprint small cells around town

Nope.
Take a look here to get a better look at what Sprint Airharmony small cells look like...
Appreciate it! Looks like I’ve been driving by it and not even noticing ?♂️ I’ll be on the lookout for more.

All of it is Sprint..
Thanks for all the help
This is one that I have seen recently as well. I don’t think it’s Sprint, though. Verizon?

That is what you are looking for.
Or a few blocks over
Thanks for the pics! Sprint’s small cell is the black antenna piece sticking out of the top of the light pole, correct?
I’ve been seeing more of the cantenna’s similar to the one a bit lower on the pole, near me. Do you know whom those belong to?

How’s the small cell rollout coming along in Chicago. I’m not sure I’ve identified any, but then again, I’m not sure what to look for ?

I imagine it takes time for this information to flow across teams. I’m not sure what the lead time is for generating the Coverage Map updates, but perhaps that has something to do with it.
If you’re aware of specific sites that are missing, you should mention it in a reply to /u/Craig-S (https://www.reddit.com/user/Craig-S) on the Sprint Subreddit in this current Coverage Map thread:
/u/Craig-S is one of the people in charge of Sprint’s Coverage Map, and he’s participating in this thread.
He also said about a month ago in an older Coverage Map thread that they were reviewing all of their processes:
I love how much more active Sprint has been on Social Media; Dr. Saw and Craig-S especially!

And Sprint roams on carriers in that area. Like Commnet and Verizon. T-Mobile is worthless in Northern AZ when not on a native signal.
Robert
I’m happy that sprint keeps in-market and domestic roaming so open. I rarely, if ever see ‘no service’

More from Dr. Saw:

We’ve deployed 3CA on approximately 400 2.5 GHz cell sites across #Minneapolis. The big game is almost a week away and we’ve kicked the @Sprint network into high gear. #WorksForMe sprint.co/2yZtofa
Can’t wait for the speed tests! Side note, they really have to change the whole #worksforme thing soon. It just doesn’t seem to fit the spirit of all the upgrades happening ?♂️

Warning: Long, but worth the read.
I just wanted to give a good customer service experience with Shentel. On one sector of the tower closest to my house (Woodstock, VA), B26 had zero data throughput. I am mainly on B41 at my house, but on occasion I would drop to B26. Anything I was doing would get cut off, which was frustrating. Through the Sprint app, I submitted some network data tickets, but nothing ever happened. So after about 6 weeks, I sent a Facebook message to the Shentel FB account one evening before work with details on the problem, including the GCI of the B26 sector and the address of the tower. I work nights, so I didn't wake up until about 2PM the next day and saw I had missed 5 calls from a Shentel Employee. It was the RF Engineering Manager. I called him back and he thanked me for my detailed message and he said when they checked the stats on the tower, they realized they had an issue. They actually shut down that sector on B26 so phones wouldn't connect to the bad band/sector. He told me the RRH went bad and they had already put in an order for a crew to replace it. He all but offered me a job and thanked me for helping them diagnose the issue. He told me I should stop by sometime and talk to him. Long story short, I may go have a chat with him sometime, but I don't know that I would leave what I'm doing now.
Anyway, fast forward a few days and I got a call from a field RF engineer who told me they had just fixed the issue and did some other tweaks to the tower to make speeds better. He told me he is responsible for the general area around me and told me to save his number and call him directly if I ever notice anything else.
I also got some info from him about future upgrades for this area. He said they are waiting on Sprint to approve them adding a 20x20 B25 carrier, but that should happen soon. He told me there is already a 15x15 B25 carrier active near me that I'm going to try to see if I can connect to it. That tower also has B41 so it may be a bit of a challenge to get my phone to connect to it. One last thing, they are close to adding a third B41 carrier to have 3xCA in this area. He said that should happen soon too.
A couple days later I noticed that there are now two 10x10 B25 carriers live on my "home tower." There used to only be one 10x10 and one 5x5. I wish I could have asked him about this, but I didn't know at the time I talked to him. I'm guessing this may be the speed tweaks that he mentioned.
This is all good news for this area and hopefully he and I can keep in touch. I asked if he could give me a tour of a tower one day and he said he would check with his boss to see if he could do it. I hope that I can do that someday.
That's amazing! Glad to hear Shentel is so on top of customer communications, and good to hear speed are back up! Now if only we could find out a way for them to manage all of Sprint's deployments...
Any idea where else Sprint can be deploying two 10x10 B25 carriers?

Does the iOS Sensorly do multiple speed tests? The Map Drive looks like it only does signal coverage. I like that RootMetrics can’t do 21 tests in a row fo4 when driving.
Map Drive only does signal coverage, you’re right. I wish it did speed tests, too!

Many parts of the UP in Michigan now show extended LTE (perhaps done earlier). Some b41 in Columbus OH metro proper is added plus some Granville, but most outlying b41 done in the last year or so remains MIA. Dayton still outdated.
I believe they’re going to be covering I-75 between Trowbridge and Hebron in Michigan with 6 future Nextel conversions!

That’s bad data. The iPhone’s field test app is not generally reliable or accurate.
It’s a shame they didn’t develop the field test app more. Hopefully the Intel version is better in the future!

band 25 10 x10 spread like wild fire in Delaware and Pa area. This helping band 41 alot. I notice band 26 improved because stay on band 25 longer now.
B25 10x10 is FAST. Works as a great backup to B41.
