I took Corridor H a few weeks ago. It's a lovely drive, even if the cell service left something to be desired. Parts of the drive had only AT&T, and parts had only US Cellular. The entire drive had Verizon roaming onto US Cellular, though.

 

 

Who's "they"? The name is associated with the SID, which is in an internal database maintained by SignalCheck Pro. At some point, probably when the nTelos network is more integrated, it will probably make sense to change the label, but probably not yet.

I'm just wondering but anyone in Roanoke found a 2nd carrier b41 before now in the hershburger road area at cookout? Also will they remove ntelos as the provider in the SCP app?

Is there any way to find out more info on tower progress or enhancements in shentel area here in Roanoke? I've not seen any progress.

I can't believe towers are that much of an eyesore. I like the look of cold steel and power. I think there is beauty in some of them. Idk why but I love the ones that are in the middle of fields and brand new. Just something majestic. [emoji851]

Saw these on a tower they are actively working on. It's off apperson in Salem VA behind a Wendy's. I know for a fact US cellular is on that tower but who else?

I was definitely looking forward to improvements but even outside of shentel area it's pretty spotty service. The reason I switched to sprint was bc I was looking forward to improvement. But oh well. We'll see there the next 2 months take us

What's the deal with sprint not turning on VoLTE and just build LTE only towers? I get that the LTE coverage isn't the best but there has to be another way to save money....

Data speed really is isn't a huge issue. Besides the call quality is so bad I can barely hear. Also I get worse service outside of the shentel/Ntelos area. Williamsburg and va beach was like the Stone Age.

How is AT&T compared to Verizon in southwest va?

I'm in Roanoke va and I hVe been calling into sprint support and they age been great about calling me back with updates. I been having some issues with called not being able to complete slow data no data, I mean just about every problem and it happens to everyone that has sprint in the entire county. I was told that 8 towers near me are having work done plus the closest needed additional backhaul. I think we're going back to Verizon after the iPhone 7 release. And i really wish that wasn't the case bc I had several friends switch from them and AT&T to sprint and its been awfulness especially in the last month.

You guys are still waiting on Shentel to take over. It shouldn't take too long once the take over is complete as the combined PCS holdings will enable expansion from the small 5x5 to two individual 5x5 for double the capacity or even 10x10 second carrier for triple the capacity. All of which is through software but until Shentel takes over you guys are still at the mercy of the woeful ntelos network. =(

Theres a app but i forget the name. It tells you how many mA are being sent to the phone. Ive used it when i have had 'slow' or no charging issues before and found the cord was only allowing about 300mA at any time. New cord solved the problem.

Yes two times. First on Friday afternoon and then again on Saturday and the 2nd time they said there was no tickets in. I find that hard to believe bc no one with sprint was able to makes calls in my home.

Can sprint not rebrand the spectrum of WiMAX for LTE while leaving it somewhat live. Or just leave it live in the areas where these few companies need it? What about just giving them LTE devices?

Those are the worst speeds I've ever had so far here at home. But it doesn't bother me, I have wifi. Doing a test here and I get such similar speeds
