  1. That sounds like a device problem, not a network issue.

Don't think its my phone, since the Sprint Zone is going haywire for my data calculations.  For example yesterday it said I had used 8.13GB, now today its just 0.05GB and it hasn't started over yet.  I think they are doing changes behind the scene.  I will call and open a ticket up if it continues.

  2. That is normal behavior for any device, and is not indicative of a network problem. If your device is not using data, why should it be active? Idle allows it to save a little battery.

Because it is using data....it goes idle when I am using it and the the circle appears and sometimes it goes to the unable to load on the web pages.  I could see if I wasn't using my phone but I am.

  3. Has anyone been having issues with the data network going into "idle" mode.  The LTE and spinner goes dark for several moments and then regains it.  Not sure if they are updating things in my area but its been going on for a week now.

Also I have noticed my Sprint Zone data amounts go back to 0 quite often.  I have unlimited so I am not worried but it seems confusing and I wonder if they are making some changes to the network.

  4. I really like to leasing option Sprint provides.  I believe they will follow suit and do away with contracts as well.  Only a matter of time.  I just wished that Sprint would provide calls/texts to Mexico and Canada like TMO does.  As well as some type of hot spot.  Then that truly would be a great value!!

  5. Is anybody with Sprint with a no contract phone? How are speeds and do they throttle speeds? Also do you have a unlimited data plan?

I have the Sprint lease, I put money down and my payment is $6.00 for the equipment and the plan is 60.00 unlimited everything.  Never been throttled.....not sure why they would anyways.  The data network is not that fast -- speeds average 2 to 5 mbps.  I was in a Spark area (Orlando) and got over 10gbps most times I checked.  I do believe the network will get better and better.  They can't afford to keep having a poor network because they will continue to lose customers.

  6. I was in Orlando last week and while the coverage was pretty good, the data speeds were pretty slow.  This is a Spark market correct?  I was hoping to see some faster speeds.  At Disney World I averaged just 3mbps.  I get faster at my place in South Carolina.  I didn't hit any real high speeds until I got to Cocoa Beach where is was almost 50 mbps.  Just wanted to get others to weigh in on this.

  7. So I've been traveling around the US a lot lately and I have yet to pick up a B26 signal and I was wondering if anyone had a list of markets in which sprint has started to or finished deploying 800mhz LTE because I haven't seen any.

B26 is all over in South Carolina.  Its just ok.  I lose LTE quite a bit.  Hoping they beef it up more.
