  1. Seeing some new lte just north of burlington mall. Looks like about 5mbps download outside though its still a little inconsistent likely due to ongoing setup/ work. Inside still bouning between 3G. Still progress none the less. I did run sensorly though it doesnt look like the data made its way onto the map yet.

  2. A new LTE tower mayhave got flipped on (or an existing one adjusted) in Leominster as signal is now strong enough to stay locked on LTE indoors. Seems to average about 5mbps down and 1 up indoors. I can get 10 or higher if i step outside. 3G speed was much improved for a while but seems borked again. I'll map some more with sensorly when I go out.

Now only if Burlington would get some LTE. There is ehrpd and improved 3G. Seems close since rt3 Billerica has spots up and running.

  3. Anyone have an issue while connected to 4G the data connection goes dead and you have to restart the phone or cycle airplane mode to get the connection back? I totally lose 3G/4G all together. Evo LTE

Yes, I have had this happen. Mine will eventually pick up 3G again, but it is a LONG swap. I think its because we are on the edge of 4G service and they are still working on stuff. I just assume its not finished yet so I go to wifi since its faster anyway.

  4. I get roughly -106 to -107 RSRP in my living room right after toggling airplane mode before it switched back to 3G. Didnt think that was all that bad of signal.

That is good. Inside, my GS3 grabs 4G at first, transfers some data, thenwill swap to 3G if I'm lower than -110 rsrp. Walking around the 4 corners of the inside of the house and moving to windows makes no changes, but going outside about 10 ft from the house does improve signal enough to stay locked on.(-99 to -104). Ran a couple speed tests outside and got 10.55 Mbps down, about .5 up. Pretty sure they're still tweaking in my area.

  5. Should have a chance to map 495 from Franklin to Andover in the next few days...

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

I mapped Rt 495 from Rt 2 to Rt 3, and from there to 95 and Burlington Mall. I got no 4G hits. 3G speed has certainly improved, but LTE signal strength just north of the mall is -126 RSRP -20RSRQ -18.4 SNR (indoors). I dont expect LTE here at my Burlington location anytime soon.

It will be interesting if your Nexus maps anything in said area along 495.

  6. Made an account to report first usable speedtest in my area. I usually flash 4G after toggling airplane mode, then go to 3G. Signal strength is weak at my house (currently -117dBm RSRP, -10dB RSRQ), but just up the road a bit on Rt. 2/ Merriam Ave Leominster I was able to complete a speed test while going down the highway before dropping out. I did not get a 4G signal strength reading to go with this speed test.

    Dowload: 6.37 Mbps

    Upload: 4.84 Mbps

    Ping: 64ms

Nearest tower was at least 2 miles away according to Sprint network enhancement page and there's no way to know if this is an LTE tower, or if I was getting signal from one of the other three nearby towers. I'll monitor signal strength next time I go through the area to see if I can determine which tower it is.
