Right, for the manufacturer version, not the carrier branded versions.
So if its rolling out for the GSM unbranded version thats NOT the same as the Epic Touch.

FD10 is out, good stuff. So far i have only been flashing modems as i am just waiting for an official ICS build to be released. Keep testing those leaked builds, the more stable they are the closer they are to official release. One can hope that is.
-
Im hoping they are getting close to an ICS official release. Seems other people are reporting pretty stable releases.

I'm running Calks v1.3 FC22 build FC24 modem and I do not have any bugs at all. My only complaint is that it has only 85% of the battery life of EL29 on GB.

I think its a modem issue.
I went back to FC15 modem over the weekend because FC24, FD02 and FD05 gave me worse battery life.
FD02 wasnt nearly as bad though.
Im on Stock Rooted EL29 ROM/Kernel with FC15 modem.

They are up to FD05 now..
THe latest video he has of a leak is FC18, i think, and from what it looks like the leaks are getting better and better, so hopefully that means were closer to an ICS official release.

Seems like the perfect place to ask - what's the best PRL for a Sumasung Epic owner like me? I'm looking for the best 3G PRL since WiMax is pretty thin near the house. TIA.
EDIT: Sure WiFi works on my device, but still, need something to improve here.

Im on an EPIC Touch running Stock Rooted EL29 ROM/Kernel but i am trying out different leaked modems.
What i have found is the modems can play with speeds.
Example.
Have a friend with all stock Epic Touch.
Sitting in a meeting last week i grabbed his phone and his and mine side by side.
Were set up the same but i had FC15 modem in mine.
3G speed test was extremely slow, but thats a tower / loading issue.
4G speed test on his was 3.6mb down and mine was 7.2 down.
UP his was 1 up and mine was 1.4 up.
Its not the most scientific test but it did prove to me that different modems can make a difference.
Remember the modem controls all the radios, WiFi, GPS, 3G, 4G. The FC 15 modem also fixed my GPS issue that he still has on his EL29 modem.

Yup, thats why i said its one of the best i have owned.
Each of them has features that make it unique. I think the 3D is built a bit more solid and less fragile. LOL has 3D for the people who can actually view it with out getting sick or a headache, and as both devices were made pretty solid running GB right out of the box.
-
The EVO 3D was also pretty solid. However i am not happy with its smaller size screen or screen type. I am sold on the SAMOLED screens. But if it wasnt for that i might still be on the 3D.
Both devices are very solid out of the box.
Thats just my opinion.

If your in one of the first launch markets like me (Dallas, TX) then id wait to see what HTC / Samsung bring to the table with their new round of LTE capable devices. HTC / Sprint have an announcement on April 4th so perhaps the ONE series will be announced then. Also as someone mentioned the SPH-L700 or L710 recently passed FCC testing so not much longer before its available.
I currently have an Epic Touch and its one of the best phones i have ever owned. Still Stock as well.
I keep an EVO 3D as back up in case i break it or it dies on me.

I carry 2 phones. Work and Personal. Currently iPhone and Android. But i recently came across a Blackberry Style 9670 and i really like the form factor. I my self am tempted to ditch the iPhone for the Blackberry. No matter what i do i have to have an Android device. LOL
