  1. Just a little FYI about 4G in Encinitas. I finally called Sprint today to complain about how my calls keep dropping while traversing Encinitas Blvd - both east and west of El Camino Real. My signal is always good - 5 bars, but the call goes buggy and then the phone loses the call.

Anyway, the Sprint person in customer service said - after looking on a map because I didn't have an "address" to give her - "They're installing Network Vision upgrades in that area. It should be finished by the end of the month. If you continue to have problems next month, call us back."

So, that sounds like potentially good news!

I had the same issue by my work in Mira mesa about a month ago and with some persistence I got the to comp me $45. Much improved since then though

  2. Just briefly picked up 4g on Mira Mesa Blvd by Fresh and Easy. Mapped 10 points on sensorly. Its starting to spread pretty quickly. Its a much better experience using my EVO on LTE that's for sure. Its fast like its supposed to be. Cant wait B-)

  3. Have to stay patient people, I'm stoked that Sprint is launching 4G LTE in San Diego just like everyone else is but until this market is officially launched by Sprint, just assume that we are always going to be in testing mode.

  4. I have driven through the Carlsbad sites, Escondido sites, Kearny Mesa sites, LA Jolla sites, and Carmel mountain sites and haven't picked up 4g in any of them. I wish they would just leave them on as they complete them. Good to see progress in SD though :)
