  1. They do have a lot of work to do but they have also done a lot in the last month as well. I been out of town for the last several weeks and just got back two days ago and I must say that I have seen a huge improvement in 4g connectivity especially on my evo. In my general area which is south of atlanta airport, lte was hit or miss a few weeks ago, especially on my evo compared to my gnex but I just got home from running a few errands and I never lost lte connectivity when I was out and this was on my evo. Places where I know for a fact I shouldn't even be getting a lte signal, I was still getting full bars of lte service. I don't know what sprint is doing but I hope they keep it up.

If the Lord is willing, I'll be down there next summer. Enjoying that good ol' 4g service across town. Idk if it's Ericsson or Sprint that's causing the slowdown here in Fort Worth, but they are bugging!

  2. Of course! @Leerage. I would be going over my data limits every month with At&t. There is no room for flexibilty on their data plans. Lol, you are a lot more knowledgeable than I am about this thang @S4GRU. So, I'm quite sure you are. But, I have seen a lottt of people say they are seriously considering paying the ETF fee. Just head over to the sprint forums and you can see the carnage.

  3. I seriously considered going with At&t myself, but that bill is gonna be higher, with wayyyy less data. I looked at how much data I've used with Sprint so far, and I already used about a gig from doing speedtest alone. That was only after 2 weeks of having the phone smh.

  4. I agree. The Anaheim area around Angel Stadium has horrible 3g data speeds. Good luck opening a data heavy app like ESPN Fantasy Baseball or the MLB app in under 30 seconds. I hope Sprint has LTE in Anaheim by the beginning of next baseball season.

A good friend was torn between getting the Galaxy S2 or an LTE phone (EVO 4G LTE or Galaxy S3) because he gets decent Wimax coverage at his work location in Anaheim, but the 3G signal is awful. He elected to go with the Galaxy S2 because of the current Wimax coverage. But he says the Wimax speeds have digressed, even non existent, now which has frustrated him to the point of contemplating ETFing to another service.

I'm sure a lot of people are comtemplating paying the ETF and going to Verizon or At&t. Sprint is betting big on this Network Vision project and so far, it looks like they're not living up to their self-given standards.

  5. What?? Lol why is this not believable??

lol, because it's so far away, but yet, so much faster than the server in his own city. I also talked to a guy from the Sprint store, and he said that more sites should be coming on in Fort Worth, within a week or two. Now I don't know how reliable he is, but, I hope he is right.

  6. I got a 4g LTE signal for the first time at my house in south Fort Worth today. It's sporadic, but it was reasonably fast. About 3-4 mbps down. It kept switching over to 3g before the upload speeds could be measured.

If you go to Mccart and W Risinger Rd I believe it is, then you should hit 30 megs. I know I'm about 15-20 minutes away, and I can get 26 down tops.
