  1. Has anyone had near full service lte in the Orlando or Tampa market with no data connectivity in heavily populated areas? I went to a dinner show the other night with 4-5 bars on my note 3 and no data was being passed. The same weekend myself and the other person on the account went to the Bucs game in Tampa, as we left and got closer to I4 we both had full service LTE with no data. It seems like the new network cant keep up in densely populated areas. SCARY!!!

  2. I agree Ericsson is in no rush to get the sites on and going. The tower crews are getting all the equipment up and ready and then it just sits in limbo. The tower I just posted pics of and the crew was there said after there done everything should be operational in less than 30days. I know there are three sites alone in Hernando county that have been complete for a while and yet there still not active yet.

Glad to see something going on in this group. Lately been a little disapponted as sone of the new sites lately have been less than inpressive on coverage, and still a number of sites that have had panels for some time still have not come online. Good to see some progress. Headed down to the south west Florida market again this weekend so will be hunting there in my travels.

I don't know because two sites in Ocala went live this week, I wish I knew what there process was for making a site live and how long it takes and why ERICSSON takes so long to complete a sites migration.

Looks like cabinets are hooked up, backhaul is installed (the line from the tower site to the road), panels are installed. I wonder what's keeping them from turning it on now. Maybe more cabinet work?

Anyways, I found out there's 3 RRUs per panel on this site, not 6. I guess I saw the guy's feet the other day and jumped to the conclusion they were RRUs. lol! I didn't get very close when I made that observation, though.

I was told by a tower crew installing the NV equipment that ericsson has to come and migrate the new NV equipment into the network. (NOTE: Daytona Beach has had a site with all the equipment installed since Nov 1st and Ericsson still hasnt gotten around to it) (NOTE: North Ocala's install was completed in early Dec and Ericsson still hasnt gotten to it either.) Just saying in my experience I would'nt hold my breath on it being fast.

  5. Any word on western Pasco, New Port Richey, Holiday, Tarpon Springs.... that area...

There is active progress in Hernando, I already list the pictures of the brooksville site that has the RRU's installed already but still not active. Also yesterday I discovered the site at sr50(cortez blvd) and SR19 had the RRU's installed. As soon as I get the photos uploaded to dropbox I will add the photos to the forum.

  6. I'll just have to activate my Evo LTE 4G and use sensorly that way. Also the 3G at the stadium seems to be up to par it works pretty well when the stadium is full of visitors from my experience going to the Buccaneers games seeings how im a season pass holder I've spent e nought time there to play on my 3G there.

  7. It showed up in the update today. It is on US 441 between Lady Lake and Fruitland Park. It will be in the next Sponsor map update.

That is the site that clearwires wimax is on in Lady lake, I have tomorrow off Ill have to head up that way and sensorly the area. NOTE: for some reason my iPhone sensorly app does not report LTE activity it seems to only show me others findings. ???!!!

  8. ************************SITE IN PROGRESS*************************** On my way home today I drove past a site and there where NV panels newly installed with three RRU's per sector on the site and freshly dug trench from the at&t fiber to the site in a rural area of Hernando county. The pictures I took from my iPhone 5 so there not the greatest but it was all I had at the moment. 19372 yontz toad brooksville fl. (SITE I.D. OR73XC012 ) I tryed to connect to the site but it appears the equipment isnt live as of yet.

  9. I just stopped by the ocala site about an hr ago and talked to a "new tech construction" employee that said the ocala site is just waiting on Ericsson to do "intigration" on the site. The cabinets and the fiber are all there, he also said that the reason his company is taking so long to do the installs is due to sprint taking a extremely long time to send out the purchase orders for the work!!!

It took about a month after nv panels were installed on the BayMeadows tower. I think the most time consuming part of the upgrade is installing the new cabinets.

  10. That was me further north! Went as far north as the cvs on mariner and springhill dr then went towards 19. Worked great for me top speed of 24mbps down.

I saw your tracks but it looks like the tracks are now further north

  11. The city of Olando has a number of permits pulled but this is the only site that is indicating anything other then issued. "633 LAKE DOT CIR// Certificate of Appearance Review Issued// Removal of five (5) existing antennas and install three (3) new antennas"

  12. Anyone want to chime in here? based on Wildman, Sloppy, and someone unknown who should be part of this site this may be one tower lighting up this area likely where the darker shade is located. I do wonder about the blip at the port though. There is a site in that area but I'm assuming the port blip would be a darker shade even if just one sector was working. If Sprint were being strategic I would have that one on full blast so people from other parts of the country that were leaving for cruises would have a taste of whats coming soon. That's why I'M surprised Disney or Orlando isnt lit up

The site is located on clearlake rd in cocoa directly accross from 644 clearlake rd.
