  1. I posted this on the article but wanted to share in the forums too. Looks like HTC fixed this in the One series as well as the Evo LTE. Now we just have to wait for customs to be convinced.

  2. OK here is a diversion to keep you occupied while you unravel because your EVO 4g LTE is on back order.

If Sprint orders a million phones? I don't know ... it takes 15 minutes to assemble one phone program it put it in a bag and a box... there are 400 people assembling phones...

Each employee would need to assemble 2,500 phones. Assuming they worked nonstop it would take them just under 42 hours to get them all done.

  3. The whole thing about the note coming to sprint is odd. The phone came out on October across the pond and both sprint and Samsung seam to be doing little to dispel the rumors. Having been a loyal consumer of Samsung devices this saddens me. I've had an upgrade pending since February and am tired of waiting. I don't know about the sense ui but if the evo lte makes it to stores first I'll give up the half inch of screen to get a new phone, this old epic has been great but it's time to move on.

  4. That's not quite how testing schedules work. Especially on a device that has never been on CDMA. An accelerated lab schedule for a device that already runs on a similar network would be more like 30 to 45 days. But given this device has never been in a network like Sprints, it would likely be longer. And then, after testing, the quickest it could get to market is another 30 days. They don't start final assembly plans until after lab testing.

Its conceivable that Sprint has had their hands on the device since February just waiting for the agreement with AT&T to run out. Robert would know more but either way i'm foaming at the mouth hoping that this device drops soon.

  5. Because it hasn't been tested in Sprint's LTE testing lab.

Assuming a 90 day exclusivity on AT&T we still have until the middle of May until Sprint can launch it. Plenty of time for testing before a possible launch. This could be a flagship device and sprint would be making a huge mistake to make it 3G only.

  6. I was just told a few minutes ago by a buddy over in AF about this. This couldn't have come at a better time, I was going to get the AT&T one this Thursday as a b'day present and if this is true then I rather wait for the Sprint version, whether 4G or not. (But I doubt it won't be 3G only, most likely 4G LTE if they do get it.)

As I mentioned over in you tube, i wonder if anyone remembers when the iphone appeared in a similar ad and how long thereafter the device was actually available. It would be cool to compare and come up with a similar timeframe (if this is indeed the Note)

man, if sprint gets this qbking is going to hack the living daylights out of it. I think I am about to cry as excited as i am lol

I did a quick search on google to see if i could find out how longer it took for the iPhone to become available after sprint did something like this but no info that i could find. If anyone else can find something I'd love to see it. However log it takes I want one!, I doubt it will be 3G since the note is LTE over at AT&T so why wouldn't it be on Sprints shinny new LTE network?

  7. I'm really sad I haven't seen Arizona on the list yet. I upgraded from my Samsung Moment to the Epic 4g and was then charged the data fee that was attributed to 4G phones only even though I didn't have any 4G to connect to. I paid the fee thinking that one day I'd get the 4G and the little bit I was paying would help that along. Now I hear that Sprint is moving to LTE meaning that my WiMax Epic would never see the light of 4G. I had hoped that Sprint would correct this by announcing Phoenix as an LTE city within 2012 but with the recent updated from S4GRU my hopes are fading fast. I really hope I see Phoenix on the list soon....
