Sensorly has been out forever but it used to not be able to map trips using IPhone but now apparently it can since it has access to the API for signal strength and type

I haven't seen any Band 41 in Greenville. My wife and I were on Woodruff Road Shopping today and she complained that the internet was slow on her iPhone 7. I would be surprised if Greenville doesn't get band 41 this fiscal year. I have also been to Clemson Blvd in Anderson and y'all need it badly. Basically, unusable. If Sprint could just deployed it in congested areas that would be enough. I get pretty good speeds in the suburban areas around the Upstate.
Yeah Clemson Blvd and ever Downtown Clemson is nothing but Timeouts I did a speed test in Clemson I couldn't even get a complete but knock it down to 3G u get around 1mbps lol what I usually do in those areas and we need it bad but out laying areas are fine

Dam I thought Sprint was doing that everywhere. Unless the area doesn't have enough to do it?

Anderson SC is pretty populated it's right up there with Greenville/Spartanburg it's pretty much the same market as GSP

B25 it's possible weither they have contiguous or if they don't then CA 25. Does the area your talking about have a 2nd B25 5x5? Unfortunately Sprint doesn't have the holdings for 10x10 on B26. I wish they did.

Only 1 carrier B25 5x5 so it's pretty congested

About average all around Anderson SC now it has gotten worse over the months come on Sprint 5Mhz on B26 and 25 is not cutting it give us at least 10mhz

Just a follow up on my B41 in Columbia I was only attached to 2 sites that SCP did not guess a band that fit the nokia mini macro B41 style. Both were near exit 9 I-77 one picked up 3 sectors so pretty sure about where that is and the other is just one sector so it would be a guess to where it would be. The different GCI for each sector makes it a pain to be sure though. It goes from 022A0731 to 022A3532 meaning there may be up to 10 sites live in the market some where to fill in the missing GCI.
Good to know I haven't been to Downtown Anderson for about going tomorrow anyone seen any band 41 around Greenville/Spartanburg areas yet?

So I wonder how Sprint will roll out 41 in SC start with Major areas first like Columbia Greenville/Spartanburg/Anderson I mean Anderson would be fine if we had 10Mhz band 25 but seeing 41 would be awesome I mean anyone in here in the GSP area seen some 41?

Nope. 12 was the only non-Sprint band listed in my phone, which is interesting because the phone itself is compatible with every LTE band currently used in the US. And while on that thought, I don't think I've ever roamed in LTE for some reason. I do head out into the boondocks occasionally and usually I roam on 3G only.
I know a lot of areas around here in the Upstate are Roaming on AT&T now for LTE which this is a new thing happening I know I used it for a bit it did not count against my roaming data pool it's better than Verizon 1x roaming which sometimes never worked highest I hit in AT&T roaming has been 1mbps down which to me is better than nothing at least usable

Sprint roaming on T-Mobile... We'd never be able to live that one down...
Might of well just merge together lmfao

Someone else with more expertise regarding android might be able to chime in, but I think that if you call Sprint and get your MSL code, you can change band priority on your phone…
Yeah it's in there but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't it will still connect to 25 regardless what u set 26 as 1 and 25 as 2

Way I have seen B26 work in SC is if you are near a tower u will get B25 the further away you get then u will pick up B26 which I have seen around here in the upstate B26 is faster than 25 some areas 25 crawls but still won't boot u to B26 so in cases like that I just force my phone down to 3G to get over 1mbps cause when 25 is congested it goes down to 0.5mbps to timeouts

Finally some B41 spotting coming on in SC excluding Rock hill area

Yeah it at least works unlike it did when it was VZW Roaming which failed half of the time

So any new updates in the area last I notice in roaming areas is now AT&T bands for LTE and 1x from VZW any spottings of Band 41 in Greenville/Spartanburg?

Also want to note back in the days when it was suppose to be WiMAX they had a issue rolling it out in the market about some kind of Band restriction a provider already had WiMAX rolled out I think it was called Open range something like that I knew they where a few towers in Greenville SC 2 in Anderson SC and a Few in Spartanburg SC so I dunno if that is still a issue cause the company is now defunct

Sprint is just to Slow with rolling out B41. They come up with priority crap. If you cover it then give it some capacity. B41 started in 2013. Att B30 started in 2015 yet att Deployment is ahead of Sprints.

What I know but if you look at Sprints coverage map in Upstate SC it's almost 100% covered so it's a major market they have been abusing

Anyone know what is going on in SC 5x5 LTE is getting unusable pretty bad when you have to force your phone 3G to stream stuff and im talking about in the upstate you can go 6 miles into Georgia on 85 and get B41 same way into North Carolina but all we have is B25 and B26
Edit: Speed tests on LTE during peak times tops out at avg 1mbps to fails upload is usually fails
3G is 3+Mbps down 2+up

But I am gonna take my S7 edge down there and see if it is just a Software glitch or is it really running on two networks CDMA for VZW and AT&T just for data I know I have seen this in a place like Franklin NC where 1x was VZW and LTE was using US Cellular but they are both CDMA so my S7 was switching like crazy between the two

That is strange I know the usual way on my iPhone I find out if I am on VzW I will dail a number wrong and get the VZW message to check my number but in that area I was connected to VZW on 1x and field test was giving me Band 17 for Data and those where the speeds I was getting with that I was able to load Facebook look at webpages when before when it said 1x it would not do anything at all

I went roaming today down towards Elberton GA today and saw this Extended LTE in VZW did a speed test and then looked at the Band which is 17 does VZW run on Band 17?
When I did the speed test it was connected to Sprint for voice but in Field test still showed Band 17

Okay what is up with sprint I went into Georgia today 2 miles in bam hit Band 41 along I 85 and even in the little town of Lavonia GA which is a hick town and they have 2xCA and on B25 they have 10Mhz and you back into South Carolina back on Slow Band 25/26 with 5MHz does sprint just not have the spectrum in SC I mean a small town less than 500 has 41 and I had it all the way to Commerce Ga which already had 41 which is also 2xCA now

But I just want to also note it seems B26 just got fully optimized at the end of December of last year and the SBA tech says it's up to sprint as most of their towers in Upstate are B41 ready SBA towers as with my tower the panels are there but all pointed down which is kinda sad which he said they where installed in NV upgrades when adding B26 he said at full power and pointed outwards would cover 85 from MM 11 to MM 2 which is there next tower which has B41 equipped but pointed down position which will cover a lot of Lake hartwell area

Sorry for the late reply I usually see if anything more develops over a few week span I mean I would be amazed if I could just see one B41 site cuts on I mean u can look at SC in whole 25/27 everywhere except some places that are 3G only due to being a very very rural tower one example type in Anderson SC go down south towards Starr and that is the last 3G only site left in the county 26 is strong I barely see any 3G anymore but I mean I find it odd and if there is some kind of restriction in place cause right when you get to the GA and NC state line on 85 B41 just stops and the only town in SC that had 41 is rock hill and that is a Charlotte Metro market so is there a block for 2.5Ghz in the whole state of SC I did see someone say the Myrtle beach area has a 41 site I mean there is only now 2 major providers for backhaul in SC now and that is AT&T and Spectrum since TWC is gone out of the midlands and coastal areas now and FYI B12 is full powered now but here is a kicker my T-Mobile phone dropped to Edge from a band 12 and my sprint phone stayed on B26 with a constant 4 to 5mbps down I mean just to be honest I think the upstate market is ready for VoLTE
