Did you buy the phone outright? If so I imagine you could easily sell the phone to pay off the contract.

Maybe I will list it on ebay and see if anyone would pay me the cost of the Early termination fee....

Why didn't you return the phone within the first 14 days? You could have cancelled the contract.

Again, I did not do my due diligence, I was on vacation pretty much until Jan 8th, (got the phone on 23rd), I mostly goofed around with the new phone at home (wifi) or somewhere else with (wifi). when I started back to work I was using the phone in my car, and at other location. I did try to return it at 18 Days, but sprint was completely inflexible.
I have no one to blame but myself.

That is pretty much common sense. Looks like you didn't do much research before switching. This is not a Sprint complaints forum. You should direct your issues to Sprint not this forum.

You are absolutely right, I did not do the research that I should have and now I am stuck.
I just wanted to point out to the person who was thinking of switching to Sprint to research the coverage before switching.

They were confused and/or idiots. This is what happens when they give 72 hours from telling employees to launch. There was a whole page in the launch guide dedicated to the fee so i dunno.

I was told by the store employee who signed me up the fee is waived..... But we will see what I am billed.

Every time I run the numbers it comes up more expensive with unlimited data and a top tier phone because I am have just one phone on my account. Also after a year can upgrade again but don't have an old phone I could sell in 20 months .
Looks good at first but I don't like it.

For New customers it is cheaper to get this plan (for one person) than to get the everything plan (the only plan they offer now)

You can start a Framily by calling the Sprint support number. I find that working with the Sprint call centers usually goes more smoothly than going to a store.

I find the complete opposite. I have always found the store employees way more helpful than the hotlines.

Right now I would love to jump in and could easily find 6 other people/lines to go with me: 1 would be switching to Sprint from a mvno, the other 5 are already on their own Sprint contracts.
If I understand properly, those 5 who already use Sprint are not eligible to join my Framily. I hope Sprint opens up a way for existing customers to merge with others, as that is the only way I can see getting onto this. I'm not too interested in porting my # out and then back in as a new customer, that is a lot of trouble and there are a lot of people not savoy enough to do it.
I switched from AT&T, not realizing that the coverage was not nearly as good in my area and the ATT "LTE Speed" was 3X faster in my area than Sprints "LTE", Also not realizing the discounts I was expecting were only applicable on data (due to the limited plans available).
So I am now paying more, with spotty coverage (dropped calls) roaming message in my house!, connection speeds very slow, Even if this seems to be a good deal, make sure that Sprint service is "good" in the areas where you mostly user your mobile.

Look 3 posts prior to your post. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
Sorry about that.

If any of you guys are going to do this I wouldn't mind hopping on a group of at least 7. That way I can get a Sim card and put it in my Nexus 5 and try out the network for a few months.

I would be also interested in joining a group. I am new 2 sprint (joined 3 weeks ago)
Say hello to the Framily (inexpensive but potentially confusing new Sprint group plan pricing)
