Just received my note 3 from sprint with MJ4, i then updated to NAB and on to NC5, but what i noticed is I don't have a hot spot option toggle in settings- connections,like on my note 2, this phone is unrooted and stock.. is this something new ?

No issues with it, ran 17 + hours it was a 65 % then with light use..

This is my daily driver, just like MC2 was..

It's very close... last few major code/mods done.  Still pushing to kick out to some initial testers this weekend or maybe sooner if things go really well.

I'm ready to test!

Is anyone else in this area having trouble with sprint service, error 34 trying to send texts and just really crappy cell service inside my home. This all started on the 26th of this month, never had an issue until now. I have been reading sprints forums and it seems like a major issue some of everywhere..

I thought i had answered this somewhere but maybe it was in a PM to someone.  I dunno..  but I would try the Velvet.apk as that is the Google Now one.  I don't run that myself as it just one of those things in the background I don't like running and didn't find it useful for my needs.

do i just place all of the zipped files in the TWRP root folder? or do i make a "MC2" folder to put them in?

Just place the zip file on the root of your sd card ,(don't unzip the file) and boot into TWRP and flash the zip..

Ahh!! OK...but what is titanium backup? And should be loaded on there as well?

Glad you like it. If anyone needs any help with installing this or needs anything added back that I removed let me know. It's the personalized S4GRU support!

 

And in case you are worried about warranty or repair or whatever. It is super easy to write one file to it that puts it back 100% stock with the write counter zeroed. No worries at all.

cool, I went over to the tower today(it's behind the school & fire dept.) and nada lol, called support and talked with tech, they said they were aware and working on it so we will see how that goes. Are you by any chance getting a signal?

nothing,but i did get a good signal in forest park, off old dixy hwy.

I live in the subdivison that is located right at the corner of the buffington/old bill intersection and me nor my wife have been able to pick up LTE yet on either of our gs3's. I'm rooted and rom'd but she's not wonder what is going on.

I'm right by spur14, south fulton parkway. not as close to 85
