Ahh well any idea where the tower is in the area that would have 4G broadcast so far?

The tower right by the fire station is broadcasting 4G on Houghton inbeteeen Irvington and Drexel. It's strong enough to reach all the way out to my gfs neighborhood past Bilby

My girlfriends phone was able to pick up the Speedway and Kolb tower yesterday but it's not a very strong tower. After getting a major street away it fades away

Notice the RRUs didn't make it into the picture. They should be on a ring a few feet below the frame.

So I tried to map out the area some note via Sensorly. Well the tower was shut off at 930 am right as I found it lol. Its a small tower next to the bus stop and in front of the CVS on the corner. Also right before it went off I pulled the best speeds at 10 mbps

My speed tests are always slow on this phone. I think its because its prepaid Virgin Mobile. I'll check speeds again with my girlfriends phone soon

Sorry! I've been so busy with work as its the holidays! Also a tower went live down the street from my apartments. Its off of Pantano and Golf Links. I'll go do some screen shots and stuff soon

So I'm at the park place mall inside the movie theater as I type and I have 4G! I'm gonna do some screen shots and data strengths. Finally aty work haha

I'm at the Park Place Mall so I'll go head over to that intersection to go see the signal pulling from the Craycroft and Broadway area

Currently there are only two open network tickets around Tucson. One at Broadway/Camino Seco for intermittent service (fixed today awaiting verification) and another in Oro Valley at Oracle/Calle Concordia for EVDO out (this one is actually pending verification from Sprint after a remote fix). No tickets open for longer term Network Vision tower upgrades (upgrades taking more than 2-3 days total per site). No Switch or market level issues either.

 

No widespread issues regarding Error 67, eHRPD, etc. today. Didn't have a sinle person come into my store today for data issues actually.

Well darn. Must of just been my phone acting up then. This is why I love this site: direct facts and answers haha

Oh and I checked out three towers I'm pretty sure are with sprint. One at golf links and kolb, one by the park place mall, and the other was in the downtown area. Signal check showed no ehrpd signal and I kept getting error 67 codes. I even hooked up to some WiFi and profile and PRL updated.

So I've noticed all day yesterday and today I've not seen data but voiceat a few sites in town. Can anyone here check and or confirm any work being done? I have a rep for Sprint through my work who said that a few sites are soon to pop up in the central and downtown areas. This news makes me very excited haha

I'm referring to the area around Davis-Monthan AFB area and around Ward 6. I'm currently around the area by Park Mall or Golf Links and Kolb. Just excited to see 4G LTE pop up on my phone one day when I wake up lol

I'm glad to see the signal strength is creeping into the central part of town but I am excited to see towers popping up centrally versus on the outskirts first or along the I-10 freeway

Oh and a side note: I still cannot pick up any 4G at the tower at Reid Park. Must of only been a real quick test tower

Funny story. As I walked out of work yesterday and sat down in my car and went to load up sensorly and unlock engineering and everything, I got quite a shock... I already had LTE! Shoulda seen the look on my face...

Haha I was up at a friends place few days ago on river and Campbell. Even inside of the apartment complex I had a very strong 4G signal. I feel like the days of annoying slow service are soon to be over

I'm really curious about those little blips on the north west side of town. They could just be random blips OR maybe another tower lol

Went by the site at Reid Park and couldn't get a signal no matter what I tried. Did multiple air plane modes, PRL updates, and just plain waiting. I believe it'll come back on in a day or two

I'll be out by the Auto Mall area and will go towards I-10 to see if I get any different signals. I'll also pull up some engineering screens to see if all is on the same tower

Weird I have yet to see the tower on Park and 18th come back online

I feel like the tower on Broadway and Harrison being it's so tall should broadcast further. Or maybe my phones signal isn't quite as good as some of the others on here
