Same thing happened today coming through anderson township, finally, it connected to LTE steadily but by the time i jad pulled over to get more accurat information, the signal failed. I did screenshot SCP as i lost the signal though, but i dont think its of any useCalls are dropping like crazy in Fairfield Twp this morning. People are having a hard time understanding even what I am saying.

Can anyone tell me about the tower at 6141 campus ln? It seems that it would be on top of the water tower at that location but I cannot see any antennas on top, was that tower moved to the other tower they built in mt Washington a few years back and the address not updated? Or am I just blind? Which is entirely possible

I was out on kemper earlier and could not get a data connection to save my life. Got a halfway decent 1x800 signal from 9655 cincinnati dayton rd, but couldnt get any data at all. Not too familiar with that area so i thought id throw it out there

Not sure what this means, service alert, estimated repair time?https://www.dropbox.com/s/uvqrecws54nudsk/2014-04-26-11-34-26.png

LTE-Only mode isn't happening with the latest KitKat update. Sorry!
Dang that's unfortunate. Through root maybe? Or no? I guess if rooted I could flash back to a jelly bean ROM and force it that way?? Hmm.....
-
My phone will sit on my table at Home and chirp randomly. When I forced LTE I used to get a faint signal.I just went to force it now to see if there were any changes but I have a problem. I recently received the KitKat update on my g2 and they changed the hidden menu on me and I don't know how to force LTE, if anyone can shout out how, I'd appreciate it, if not, I'll dig into it later and get back after I have an update on LTE status.

i drove down beevhmont ave earlier and my signal check was chirping LTE on and off almost constantly. my phone went off again just a minute ago, and now the tower in mount washington, 6141 campus i think, seems to be "off" i am jumping on and off 3647 hopper hill and 434 hilltop. i know they have already installled new equiptment at the tother beechmont tower, 7978 beechmont, which is still closer than either of the two i am pulling from tonight.... cluster soon?

I received it months ago and do not have 4g yet in my area.. I think it's a marketing ploy.. To get you in their stores and upgrade to a spark ready phone

yeah i didnt think it meant 4g would soon be 'active' (but i do have b41 at my house). i just watched them but up new sprint panel on my side of town but not my home tower so i wasnt sure at what stage of developement they might send that message
-
does anyone know if Sptint sends the "we will be ugrading a tower you connect to most..." message before an upgrade starts or rather after the hardware upgrade is complete and are about to begin testing?
-
Got workers currently hanging at 7978 beechmont ave
-
As of today, calls are dropping when I go in and out of my bedroom. Its trying to get LTE in there so maybe we have someting new active over here on the east side, ill be going out later to see if I can track this down
-
Anyone else still experiencing dropped call hand-offs between OH and IN towers that have been upgraded to 4G?
I justbdrove from I-71 to Kellogg on 275 and could not keep a call to save my life, dropped the call six times I think, and that's on the slim chance the call got out

LTE signals do not give of a geocoding address, so it's a guessing game where your LTE signal is coming from.
In Columbus, we have a spreadsheet we use to track the PCI & GCIs given off by the towers, as well as map on Sensorly. Each tower gives off 3 PCIs, so if you drive around mapping and see where they change, you can track it.
If there are enough people that want a spreadsheet and can help contribute/maintain it, I'm sure we could help get one up and running for you Cincy Sponsors.
Thanks, definately something tk keep in mind, though im not sure how much contribution there would be to make it effective.
Also wondering how to read what band of lte i am connecting to

Anyone know why, when i am connected to lte, signal check pro does not probide an address?
-
Towers at hilltop drive, hopper hill.and oh28 all broadcasting 1x800, connected to all 3 from mount washington
-
I can confirm the tower at 7978 beechmont ave is broadcasting lte, only usable to me in lte only mode, im assuming thats the ecfsb issue ive been readig about
That tower is in my parkig lot at work so maybe run some speed testa tomorrow while im there, i only get a very weak signal at my house, if i am wrong please let me know or if this has been reported before
-
I have never gotten my g2 on lte in ohio unless I force it... what phone do you have?

I just picked up my g2 and get great lte signal near the 275 exit for 125, what part of town are you in?
-
I just picked up a g2 yesterday, coming from a evo 4g lte. But i had installed signalcheck pro on the old device and now doesnt show as purchased in the play store :/
But i may have missed it, but does anyone have info on the tower at 7978 beechmont ave? I can post pics later and cant wait to go out after work to try and find some purple
-
I also got some good speeds in eastgate today, even inside jungle Jim's I was able to pull a strong lte signal, which used to be virtually a dead zone. Glad to see some new towers online on the east side, considering my work is next to one that I dont believe has been updated, unless someone can verify the tower at 7978 beechmomt has having the new equipment, I guess I'll wait for the trucks to pull in

Since 7978 beechmont went live with lte a couple weeks ago, there has still been a lot of wprk being done on the tower. New cables ran up and down it last week, today new cabinets being installed (talked to one of the contractors he said they cost about a million each? Also confirmed they were pulling out 3g cabinets and replacing them with 4g) i guess these are just stages of a tower upgrade or is it a false lte signal due to the new panels, but cannot get tje benifit of true lte (b41? Hopefully?) Until all the equipment jas been installed
