An LTE next-gen iPhone with unlimited data could potentially "save" Sprint imo. People are finally seeing what data caps do to LTE with the new iPad, and they'll want more data. The biggest knock on Sprint as to why people won't switch to them even though they have unlimited data and it's cheaper, is because of the horrid data speeds (can't blame them.) LTE solves that. Suddenly Sprint is just as fast as the other guys, or close enough, and cheaper and unlimited. That's a huge draw. I've already talked to a lot of people about the potential of an unlimited LTE iPhone on Sprint and what it would mean, and a lot of people that dislike Sprint are now saying that if they have a chance to switch over, they're going to strongly consider it. I just hope NV keeps going really well and Sprint has a large portion of markets done or almost completed by October and things should be gravy.

I think there's going to be soonish

Are we getting another release tonight? *fingers crossed*

The NV image of the overlap between WiMax and LTE scares me. It looks like not that many people living in WiMax areas will get LTE at first, and I live in one of those areas. Ahhh
-
So great to see another city added. Is it just coincidence that it looks like Sprint is following at&t's lte roadmap?
I really hope so, LA got AT&T's rollout pretty early
-
When I had unlimited AT&T, I was using 4-6gb a month. Switched to Sprint in October and because of the much slower Sprint data speeds where I live, I only use like 700-1gb a month. I'd definitely agree with the notion that faster data speeds lead to increased used of data.

Sprint wont get the iPad, or at least isn't rumored to. And I bet they try to have a few markets covered with LTE by the time the next iPhone is released, an unlimited LTE iPhone would be a huge draw.

This is a quote directly from that article on Phandroid: "The thing is, it’s not only Apple who uses Foxconn to make their products. That shiny new Kindle Fire you received for Christmas — guess what? It was built in a Foxconn factory just like the iPad 2. It’s true."
Not Kindle, not Kindle Fire 2.
I'm agreeing with you, that Phandroid article was incorrect on the Kindle Fire. Foxconn makes the original Kindle, not the fire. However, the list of companies that use Foxconn on that article is correct.
-
I'm not so sure on how correct this article is. It claims the Kindle Fire was made by Foxconn. Quanta computer manufactured the Kindle Fire.
Correct, but Amazon wants Foxconn to make the Kindle Fire 2. Foxconn currently makes the Kindle, just not the fire.

Here are a couple links showing the vast difference in profits that Apple and Foxconn are making on the manufacture of Apple devices. I do agree that Foxconn manufactures a LOT of electronics for other companies, but I have not seen any numbers on their profit margins compared to Foxconn's.
Microsoft profit margin: 31.72%
Intel: 24.2%
Google: 25.56%
Samsung: 18%
IBM: 18.62%
Apple: 28.2%
They all have pretty high profit margins (besides companies failing like Dell and HP.) My point is, this isn't an issue Apple can tackle alone, they all need to work together to improve conditions over there.

Gotta link proving this ?
here's one from an Android website:
-
Yea Foxconn and the little guys that make Apple famous
Foxconn makes most (if not all) Android phones. Apple isn't the only one who uses them.

In other thoughts...
Why would you want to support a company that treats their personnel so horribly ?
Along with the arrogance andstale lawsuits.
Off topic: but Apple actually treats their employees really well. It's one of the highest rated employers in the US (along with Google.)
If you are talking about Foxconn, they're only a supplier for Apple, along with HTC, Samsung, Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, Dell, HP, Motorolla, etc etc. However, Apple has taken steps to improve the working conditions of the employees in associated Foxconn factories (more than any other company has) but that could be because for some reason they take the most heat for it and every other tech hardware company associated with them (all) is largely ignored.
On topic: every company is suing every company, its the way its been for years, only now its getting more notoriety.
Comments related to the NV Running List Thread

So Robert, a whole ago you were saying that you have some new info related to the NV rollout in Orange County, CA. Recently, the service hasn't been allowing me to connect to 3G in some parts of the county. Even when I update my prl it will connect to 3G for a second then revert back to the slower network. Any chance this is because they pushed forward the NV here? I know it's a long shot, but I only ask because of what you said earlier.
