Reading up on the G3 a bit makes it seen rather nice and seeing that 9000 mah battery... dang!
-
The G3 is good you say? I know the G2 has worked well for my sister and her fiance.

Oh, that autocorrect. Jacking up my posts!

For some reason, I want to say 25 is useda bit more or perhaps there are propagation issues since I'll often hit under 10 and often 3P-4 on the downlink. I'm considering jumping to a Spark phone once all towers are up. Latency has been low though - so, no issues there.

Strange. I have a S3 and I believe it just does LTE band 25, so I can say for sure that it is indeed fairly active around town. It would be nice to have a triband phone though since that 1900 can be fickle at times.

Ended up holding LTE from Kirby and Mattis to Windsor and Mattis down to Old Church and Dunlap across to right Matt Carrey Busey. Dropped to 3G right when I got home though. Also got the same 3-5 mbit down speedsm

As of a few hours ago, my phone is picking up LTE at Kirby and Mattis.

Nice pictures and thanks for the info CoreyTrevor. I forward to LTE being available in another section of Champaign.

I know nothing on Quincy's deployment. Sorry man. :/

Blc95 -I have not. I am usually out and about at night though.

Ah, ok. Good idea to keep it running.

Thank you for the updates CoreyTrevor. Did a speed test when on LTE downtown?
I had LTE for a few seconds on Kirby crossing over 57. Always fun to check for LTE on deliveries
-
I'll check out the Kirby and Mattis area tonight since I do deliveries around that area. It's always nice to have my phone display LTE, but it is a S3, so only 1900 LTE I believe and it seems to not have as good of an antenna as my younger brother's Note II.

You can get those speeds on 3G from any tower with upgraded equipment if the backhaul is not saturated. If your device was indicating LTE with those speeds, it would suggest no upgraded backhaul yet.
That is something I was thinking, but perhaps it is my phones doing only 1900 mhz combined with the masses of concrete and metal that are movie theaters, but whether down in Texas or up here in Illinois, in most theaters, my data speeds are far less. Plus given the area of Champaign, on Ev-DO, it was near impossible to load to a web page at times let alone be able to get those results on a speed test. I hope it isn't fully upgraded backhaul wise though (if it is upgraded).

Just got back for a 10P showing of X-Men at the Carmike theater in Northern Champaign (off of Prospect). My younger brother and I both had LTE in the theater and parking lot at least. It wasn't in that area as of about three weeks ago. Did some speed tests in the theater. The theater doesn't have the greatest reception inside. Got 1.51 down/0.81 up with 83 ms latency at 10:06P.
