Well damn! I do have the old one! So it'll eventually roll out?
-
Keep in mind though, your phone only does LTE on 1900 (Band 25)

So after acceptance, roughly how long till there is 4G?
-
Oh and HTC oneAround 35th street and Harrison Street
-
Give me an idea of the area you are talking about, cause I see a lot of 800mhz LTE acceptance in the past 45 days. What device are you on?

Sprint sucks, I'm still getting downloads of 0.2 MB in central Davenport ..what's the hold up for the rest of the QC??
-
The important thing to know is that all of the sites in the Quad Cities area have 4G equipment installed, which means that once bakchaul arrives at the site, it will be a quick turnaround to get LTE running.
Awesome! Thanks for your response too !
-
Oh ok, thanks for the clarification!
-
i'm not sure what you mean?
I don't understand what you mean by legacy and "waiting on backhaul to get to all the 3G only accepted sites so they can turn LTE on." Basically I'm wondering when the rest of the Quad Cities will have 4G.
-
other than 10 sites that are still legacy east iowa is basically done as far as initial acceptances go. they are just waiting on backhaul to get to all the 3G only accepted sites so they can turn LTE on.
What does that mean for the rest of the Quad Cities?

Lol love how it still gets an F+....good old sprint. I use to be lucky to get a signal at 1pm...maybe speeds of .01-.04mb...speed test just got .98 mb...in my home just north of Ambrose.

Do you guys know when a specific tower will be upgraded? 3G in my central Davenport house is pathetic, and virtually unusable I can't even usually load this website with no pictures or animation
-
It also helps to set Sensorly to only upload over WiFi. I've found that my HTC ONE connects to LTE faster than I think to look for it sometimes. I don't even bother with LTE Discovery most of the time now.
That's the phone I got! I'll try sensorly on Wi-Fi upload
-
The LTE discovery app set to Cycle while not connected to LTE is your best friend when mapping out LTE.
Very helpful, downloaded, thanks!

were you using data the whole time? maybe streaming internet radio? i ask because if your phone is on 3G and starts an active data connection it won't try to look for 4G until data stops being used or you lose 3G all together.
That's it! I was using sensorly from Iowa trying to map, you're right, I shut off sensory past Menards and it switched to 4G... thanks!
-
Is it normal for them to shut off 4G? It was 3G all the way down John Deere Road from 74 to Menards when it was 4G almost a week ago
-
I went on JD Rd from Walmart to Milan parkway
-
I picked up 4G by Moline Walmart!! I'll sensorly map it. Although I'm struggling to get to 1 mb

Sounds good! Hopefully we'll have it very soon.
-
the site is south of john deere going towards the airport on 74,I wonder if it isnt broadcasting yet?
Ya, maybe they were testing it or something. I drive around there 4 days a week for work, I'll keep an eye on my phone and update everyone when I see 4G
-
nevermind I found the app for the record I drove on 74 from John Deere Road to Airport Road and then west to the Rock Island Milan Parkway no 4G for me
