  1. Mine has great speeds and hold.a connection very well too. They must have some defectives or something

I agree My G2 holds lte well even into the -120 db range. The only issue my g2 has as far as lte goes is switching from 3g to lte while in use. ie if I am driving streaming music or letting my son watch youtube. The only way to get it to switch bck to lte is too recycle data and or stop the application.

However, this weekend I drove around to two sprint stores and help my phone next the the other triband devices  G4 gmin, One mega, and N5 My g2 help a better db than all except the n5 but differnce was only like 1 db I made sure both were on the same tower using signal check.

I did not compare any single band devices.

The issues people are having with their g2 must be a bad batch or coverage area combined with tri-band newess bugginess

  2. That seems to be a non SVLTE, single radio issue. When your handset keeps using data -- as smartphones are prone to do -- it will linger longer on eHRPD/EV-DO. An active data session will hand down to eHRPD/EV-DO but not the other direction.

I have had this issue when streaming youtube for my son while driving or if something is syncing in the background or push notifications

  3.  the two that could not connect to 4g at all came from the same store went back to org bestbuy store for 5th and bam no probs...so it may be that some locations got a bad batch

  4. Ive have two g2's on my account,  on the one I am on  my 5th  1st nothing wrong just thought there was swapped... 2nd  I bricked, ... 3rd/4th could not connect to 4g at all... Now on my 5th and the radio and performance is on pair or better than previous s3 in Atlanta... also the other g2 on other line works fine no radio issues... Even seems to perform better at end of cell coverage than iphone 5s which is the 3rd line

  5. What??  I do not understand what you're asking.  Maybe it's not even a question?

maybe it was tounge and cheek. However, do you think that the triband samsung devices will be released prior to the lg devices already released get the spark update

  6. The LG G2 has not formally had the update for Band 41 yet. And there is a reason. They are still working out issues. If it was ready to work on Band 41, it would have been enabled at launch like the other non LG devices.

If it has problems after LG/Sprint rollout the Triband update, then that would be cause for concern. I think at this point, we all are expecting issues when we try to use the G2/N5 on any LTE band other than 25.

What is the change the the s4 triband or is s5 is released prior to getting a spark undate on the lg devices or the lg flex is released
