Yes they are a local company. It looks like they are based in Nampa though .

I am starting to see a lot more purple on the sensorly map. I am starting to get really excited.

My friends have told me that they got 4g at Glenwood and Chinden last night. Anyone else confirm this?

I got some more 4g data recorded today on sensorly. I got 4g right as i crossed the intersection of meridian and overland road. I am not sure how long it will take for it to show up but I hope I got a good maping. Seems like they have turned it up just south of the freeway there.

It's happening! As I was driving home from downtown yesterday I saw Benchmark Electric working on a tower just off Emerald, next to the 184. I recognized the name of the company from the building permits linked earlier in this thread so I knew they were most likely working on one of the Sprint LTE contracts. Unfortunately my phone didn't connect to it though since it was most likely off while they worked on it.
I wrote a Tasker script a while back to alert me when LTE connects and to map it, (successfully tested in Utah last week). Still waiting for it to inform me of the good news here though.
Would you be willing to share your script? Does it require root?

i was over by Roaring springs and I got 4g for about 5 minutes before it turned off. I tried to do a speed test but it was gone by the time I realized I was on 4g and tried to run the speed test.
EDIT: I just checked on Sensorly and my phone did report it today. http://sensorly.com/map/4G/US/USA/Sprint/lte_310sprint
If you zoom in to where Roaring springs is at you will see it.

I was jut driving by the tower out by my house and they were working on it. I stopped and talked to them and they told me they should have the new radio's and Antenna's up by the end of tomorrow. This tower is at Deer Flat and Ten Mile. I was told that once sprint has done the radio test's they will turn up the tower which might be as soon as Monday or Tuesday. This is good news.
