  1. Has anyone found where the actual PRL is for the iPhone 5S yet? The only thing in the sprint bundle is a .PRI file. After the recent PRL update it didn't alter any of the date/time stamps on the .PRI file yet the PRL has changed. All the other carrier bundles have a PRI and PRL file except Sprints.

  2. I do, but I opted not to be specific, for various reasons, one of which there are no guarantees, but I will say this, Orem/Provo should see LTE in many places this week.  Most of the sites that are planned on going live in this cluster lighting in Utah county will do so before Christmas.

After that we get ready for Saint George :-)

Don't be a LTE tease! ( Who am I kidding i'm on a forum tracking it better than I do my favorite football team currently )

  3. Poor digiblur.. now that it's fixed, he will be back to unusable LTE speeds. Talk about an unselfish move!

I got a good chuckle out of this

I would still like to know how or what happened on Sprints side of things out of curiousity

  4. The problem with that theory is that at this stage the only people that are on 60657 are us S4GRU folk that manually updated our PRL as soon as we heard there was a new version out. The masses of Sprint iPhone users are still enjoying LTE on 51098.

Mine updated automatically, I hadn't done an ##update# in quite awhile

  5. Maybe they want everyone off the lte network so they can do some sort of nationwide software upgrade for lte components? A random total guess.

Interesting idea, wonder if the PRL updates relate to vendor markets. Utah is a Samsung market

  6. There has only been one new site, that was in st george and one relocation which was downtown that im aware of. From the answers I've got when asking that question is there wont be many sites added until NV 1.0 is complete then they will look at areas that need additional towers to support customer demands and needs? There is a clear tower near 700 east 200 south that will add additional lte support on band 41 once it goes live/or devices are allowed on which I believe that site is live? Though you would need a hotspot to test it as most are not having luck on tri band phones yet.

The one in St.George I believe was done to provide sufficient coverage to the new airport that was opened up out that direction. Nothing official backing that, only an observation.

  7. It's a tough area to cover effectively with the terrain but Sprint has neglected even the "prime" towers for optimal coverage for the past two years at minimum. I've been watching their upgrades closely as my contract is up in 3 months. I've been with Sprint for 10 years and i'd like to stay, but when Verizon here is on LTE, and their 3G consistently tests at 0.80+ it's hard to justify it anymore. Here's hoping StG gets some love

  8. Then when it went back to 3G north of mapleton, the normal speeds showed up as this speedtest. The 3G in at George was very poor btw. Hardly worked and couldn't access data many times, hurry up sprint!attachicon.gifimage.jpg

That's actually an amazing 3G test for St.George, the legacy gear down here is terrible and has been for awhile. I've got pages of 0.08 down 0.16 up and i've been harping on Sprint all year about it.
