Sprint didn't announce this anywhere, but the following towns have Spark:
Modesto, Stockton, Manteca, Turlock, Ceres, and most of Stanislaus County and parts of San Joaquin..
Basically from Stanislaus County, through San Joaquin county, up to connecting to Sacramento.
I discovered this by accident tonight when checking Sprint's coverage map.
Notice, Sprint has never once announced any of these cities as getting Spark. Only Sacramento.
December 17th, 2014, 16 new Sprint markets were turned on according to Sprint, but they didn't name but two of the sites in the press release. Maybe it was turned on then, or when Sacramento was turned on back before but never mentioned it? Anyway, time to test it as I happen to be in Modesto, CA, I will have to try this out. I am getting a Note 4 .. maybe tonight or tomorrow to test it further.
B26 popping in and out in Stockton. Hammer ln and West ln

I have both signalcheck pro and lte discovery. Lte discovery is able to display b41. I am on the Galaxy S5.

You can watch your GCI to tell if your on clear band 41. Your market looks like it starts with 0AC for band 25(not sure about what your surrounding band 25 GCI should be). So If you see 03C then that is clearwire band 41 or if you see 0AD it should be sprint band 41. 0AD will show band 41 in SCP correctly for samsung devices.
Is there a difference between clearwire band 41 and sprint band 41?
-
Really? That sucks! That was the main reason I purchased the app. Is there another way to see what band you are on?Well you need to be connected to band 41 of some type (clear on sprint) or band 26 for it to show.
Samsung devices do not show clear band 41 as they have software bugs that prevent scp and other apps from identifying it.

I think I'm on b41 with the S5 because it picks up lte but the S4 will not. Im near Sunrise & Coloma. Thanks!

How do I get Signal Check Pro to display the LTE band info?
-
In the pic the left is the S4 & right is S5. For some reason the S5 will not connect to 1x800. There has been serveral locations where this has happen. S5 hs no problem with lte though even with b41. Anyone know why this is?

Well.....what do you know!!!! Madison/Hazel site just got accepted for 4G LTE!!!
Yup i was there yesterday. Lte up and running!

Anyone know when the tower @ coloma & sunrise will go live?

I've read your previous post regarding this topic but I assumed you was talking about the future. As I said to the sponsors in my sponsor thread and repeated so many times over the past year...
Anyone who continues to use and operate a single band or dual band (iPhone 5s/5c) on sprint in Sacramento or anywhere in northern California will only have themselves to blame if they complain about slow speeds.
Sprint does not have any additional pcs spectrum to deploy another band 25 carrier and band 26 will be purposely limited to a very high threshold before users will be sent to that band because it's main purpose is mostly for coverage.
The only thing that'll make sprint usable in this area is band 41 2500 mhz carriers where sprint holds 55mhz of BRS and untold amount of ebs.
So yes get a triband device. If you don't then you'll have a miserable experience here.

As of right now in the Sac area, would it be beneficial to have a sparks phone?

Earlier this year when I still had sprint, I drove up to Eureka and passed through a couple sections with no service. I am guessing that I experienced no data service for about a total of 1 1/2 hours out of the 5(ish) hour drive. Was bummed out but there are a lot of hills and trees around that probably don't help much. Not sure about the south bound drive, never tried to stream music or used a service that required constant data usage while driving south. I would assume that it would be better since the land is pretty flat.
I'll probably end up switching back anyway. As long as I can listen to spotify on my normal morning commute with no interruptions.
I was in bodega bay recently and I had completely no service. It wouldn't even go into roam even though other people had service.

Again. We can't tell if it's being worked on or not without some pictures of the equipment though I have a solid hunch that may be confirmed with pics.
I edited my orignal post and added a picture. Not sure if you can tell with my picture. Not the best of quality.

Everytime I'm around Target store in Rancho, I barely get any service. With the new upgrade will the service improve?
