Has anybody seen anything in the PSL area? I figured since they launched that area they wouldn't leave the 6 remaining towers without upgrades. I know there is still lots to do everywhere but maybe they launched a little premature...

So, it's not significantly better on the S3?
Not at all. I think I was one of the few lucky ones with the EVO. I usually have a much better signal and have 4G more often the she does. We are both running the latest and greatest firmwares for our phones.

Isn't 7-8mb enough though?
It is, when you can get it. To live in a "launched" market and have an extremely hard time finding LTE just plain sucks. This is on 2 different phone models too. I have the EVO LTE and my wife has the SIII.

I can now confirm and agree with most of this. I haven't been disappointed with LTE speeds, but I have only been in LTE areas for a few minutes at a time, given the relatively small coverage spots.
It's hard to believe Sprint would want to consider this a representative example of a launched market.
Yea its spotty at best. The speeds are great when compared to current speeds, but they are still relatively slow compared to other markets. I usually dont see any speeds higher than 7-8 meg. I had one instance of 17 meg but that was it. Im still hoping for the best when they finish the remaining 3-4 towers or possibly activate some more 800 MHz even though that shouldnt affect LTE speeds.

I don't have an LTE phone yet (next week!), but based on looking at the sponsor maps and Sensorly, I am slightly surprised they are considering Port St. Lucie's coverage launch-worthy. Coverage looks to be significant in the central and eastern portions of the city, but less so on the west side.
I was thinking the same thing. I have had the EVO LTE since it came out and I can tell you most of PSL doesn't have 4G even though it may look like a large portion does. Coverage is spotty at best and still fairly slow. Its a lot faster than our current 3G but still seems pretty slow. I would rate the overall service in PSL as horrible still even with on going tower work. I really hope it gets better.

Finally seen what 4g looks like. 4G confirmed out in West Jupiter. I was able to pick it up at work this morning.

Patterns? No. Things are still moving in the Orlando market. I imagine you will see sites start going live in both cities in the next 30-60 days.

Talking about hitting the nail right square on the head. Activity in both places and all over in general. Thanks Robert!!

I didn't think so but thank you for the good news.

Robert,
Have you noticed any patterns with announced markets and work being done. There doesn't appear to be really any rhyme or reason. I ask because markets like Port Saint Lucie and Sebring were both announced back in Sept and it doesn't "appear" as if anything is really going on.

I'm a native in the Orlando market......one of a few though...The only thing I can report is ehrpd in Port Saint Lucie, We have had that for probably 2 weeks now.

Just wanted to say thank you to Robert and S4gru for the updates and information on LTE coming soon. Look foward to them starting to turn on some towers in the Orlando market.

Does that mean we are going to get some love down here in the south end of the Orlando market?
