Alcatel-Lucent region in SoCal, sepcifically San Diego Market, is definitely on HD Voice. Between HTC One and iPhone awesome voice. First noticed yesterday after actually understanding my wife in a phone call for once..(She speaks incredibly fast and has ADD)....

I highly doubt that this will fly by the DoJ and FCC. It seems pretty clear that four national carriers is the goal, and the benefits of a merger of Sprint and T-Mobile would certainly not outweigh the costs of losing that competition. There isn't much synergy between the two at all. There is literally no band+technology overlap, and their combined spectrum resources would be absurd and extremely tilted towards high frequencies. The only possible case here would be that having a carrier with 80 million customers instead of two with around half each would give more pressure on the big two. I suspect, however, that this would occur more through S+TM price increases rather than ATT/VZ price decreases.
I agree. He might want to run them as two separate companies. But then that would be counterproductive...

Right there with you. I would wonder what Son would want to do if he has his money split on CDMA and GSM. Would that mean that Sprint Network roll out would slow?

- The WSJ reports Sprint (S +5%) could make a bid for T-Mobile USA (TMUS +7.8%) in 1H14. Both Sprint and T-Mobile shares have spiked in response.
- The FCC would doubtlessly give close scrutiny to a deal that would reduce the number of nationwide U.S. carriers to three from four. But Sprint majority owner SoftBank (SFTBF) hasn't been scared to make big bets.

I knew Son had deep pockets, but DAMN! He is on a take over mission.

Anyone near Southern California have info on Imperial County? LTE in ghost towns in the County but nothing in the main town. Strange.

So are you saying all your orders got cancelled or just your 2nd and 3rd orders did? Maybe they cancelled your orders due to multiple entries?
I made two orders and both seem to have been approved just waiting on stock to be replenished and then they will ship.

SD has WiMax that isn't a protection site? Since when?
What he said..
They don't. They have LTE though.
-
Is everyone that ordered one and got theirs shipped in a wimax coverage area? Maybe their cancelling orders for MiFi's that don't have any triband coverage.
Im not in their coverage area. Closest is 130 miles away in San Diego. Then again I just ordered it this morning...and now i wait...

Response to our offer on the MiFi 500 LTE by Novatel Wireless this week was so great that we have depleted our inventory. Please don’t worry though, we have a shipment already en route to us. We just wanted to send you a courtesy email to let you know why your phone hasn’t shipped yet.
......
We are normally pretty good at predicting our inventory but the demand for the MiFi 500 LTE by Novatel Wireless even surprised us.
^ Courtesy Email i just received from Wirefly...Wonder why they are surprised..
