Yup, our signal in that area has been great. I've been jumping between B41 and B26 a lot this week.

So apparently I was connected to sprint b41 rite Tim?
That last screen shot is Band 26...
-
Band 41 isn't in all of the UCV. That requires an equipment change in some locations, which had yet to be done in many areas. Tim will have more info on deployment of B41 stuff.

Yeah this is confusing to most users. Even though you may have only 1 or 2 bars of LTE(also depends which band 25/26/41 LTE) you could really have Full Signal strength on 800/1900 voice from a different tower. The LTE signal strength can be confusing to some users thinking that they they are going to have poor voice coverage, but soon as you place a call your phone switches from LTE to 800/1900 voice...and you most likely will have good to full signal. This is usually the case when your phone is connected to a B41 LTE site.
I've finally realized this while I'm in midtown and downtown on LTE signals. I was bummed at the low bars, but realized that the signal is still very good for voice.

I think one tower is spark enabled. That's it. That's hardly the entire city.lmaO they have rancho cordova listed as spark. srsly??

The area in and around Rancho Cordova is not completely LTE active. I think maybe two towers are 4G accepted at this point in time.

I've been with Sprint for over 12 years now...it's worth it seeing these upgrades. Glad to see LCV getting the love, too.

That was fast moving over the past few months to get everything online.Thought I'd do this since I haven't done it in a while...
Currently there exists 551 sites in this market. Of those 551 sites..
In Progress: 4 sites
Live on NV 3G: 239 sites
Broadcasting 4G: 308 sites
In summary, the entire Upper Central Valley has been fully upgraded to the Samsung Network Vision Equipment with the only thing holding Sprint back being the high speed internet backhaul to the cell sites.
^^ Not bad.

This is what has been going on in Rancho and we went live a few months ago. They are still making tweaks and adjustments. LTE isn't consistent, 800 voice is hit and miss, but it is an improvement over what we had forever prior to the upgrades. Slow and steady wins the race, at least that's how I see it.The network has only been fired up for barely a month. Lots of adjustments are being done or have yet to be done that will be done in the future. No rooms for errors here if they want to be competitive in the future.
Also I run into techs and tower hands all the time. They're mostly a friendly bunch once you get them to talk and will share a lot of things with you if you're nice and know what you're talking about.

Ooh, 1x800 came back up on my phone while at home again.

Nice to finally see these updates. It's great that we are finally getting what we were waiting for over the past few years. The last year has been grueling with the "I see trucks!" to "Wait, they're gone...and nothing else is happening." I'm definitely glad I stuck it out.

LTE live west River road I5@Sutterville and got a good whiff of it downtown, Picked up at 16TH & S thru 15th and G probably coming from Sac Bee from the signal levels observed
I think there's a closer tower than Sac Bee for that stretch that has LTE broadcasting. Could be, though.
-
I noticed this in Rancho after the initial launch. Now, it is on all the time. Just waiting for the LTE/backhaul delivery. No accepts anywhere in the recent cluster for Sprint LTE. What you're all getting is Clear B41.
1x800 was being tested for the first couple of day and are now off. After consultation with other Samsung regions this is the norm where they test for a few days after a cluster launch and then nothing for 2-3 weeks before they fire it all up permanently.

I haven't. I know that site is broadcasting 1x800 for sure as of Friday, but I haven't been downtown since for any length of time. Can you check the garage at R & 15th? Or has that already been verified?
It looks like Sprint dropped their prices and is offering a buyout deal right now (even for single plans) so I might jump back over right away while the deal is still around.

The location I go to is closer to the capitol building, but I will swing by that area for a quick speed check and signal check screen shot.

Ooh, nice! I'll have to go to Old Soul more often. . I'll try a speed check when I get down there later today.http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/a/951102775
I got this in Midtown (Downtown Sacramento) at Old Soul Coffee at 21st and H Street. I didn't think of Tri-Band having to be a factor, but yes, I'm running a Nexus 5.

I'll be back in midtown tomorrow afternoon. I will check from my office, too. Right now, I am checking out the LTE in Mather.Got LTE in Midtown yesterday, all day. Not a strong signal, but I'll run a speed test when I get home.
Looks like it's finally here.

When I spoke to my husband earlier, we were both on our cell phones and he kind of sounded like he was in a tunnel. He said I sounded odd. Might be the HD. At the time, I was on 1x800.
But, it was the clearest connection I've had really ever while I'm sitting at my desk at work.

I'm pretty sure it was mentioned a lot of work in Natomas this week.
