There's a Spark indicator in the toolbar. My bud called me all excited that he has LTE in his house. That would be the tower near West Mtn and 66 in K'ville.

What????? Spark here?  Which cell site were you connected to?

Sensorly shows LTE from where 40, 85 & 840 meet all the way to Durham following 40 into Raleigh.  I was at exit 276 on 40 and had a strong LTE signal.  The Raleigh Durham airport was LTE when I was there in August.  For what ever reason it was not working on Christmas Day.  In August I had a strong LTE signal inside Terminal #2 but nothing outside.  Softbank wants to buy T-Mobil so it will be interesting to see how that plays out and how it would affect Sprint customers.

I left Sprint for T-Mobile.....isn't that my luck :-(

LTE installations have come to a temporary halt in my market.  We only have about 14 4g accepted towers in my city.

Although as of last Thursday/Friday now I am getting rock star signal (both LTE and voice) on my EVO 4G LTE.  Which building does she work out of?  I know the signals in this area are hit and miss at times.  Now I generally get a drop zone once I go northbound on State Line Road and hit the 95th Street and State Line Road hill.  Grr!!  But this is the price we pay for improvement then I am all in baby!  Have a great night.

IDK a retirement home I think on Wornall Rd...I live in North Carolina.  I visited her couple weeks ago and noticed the difference in towers/RRUs.  We ate at the Elephant Bar....didn't know I was so close to Sprint Headquarters!!

Hey there!  Sorry for the delay but the week your girlfriend was having issues there was a tower either being worked on or down because where I got full bars and LTE it was roaming for a day or so.  I bounce off of the tower on 78th and State Line by the McDonald's on the corner of 79th & State Line (but not the newly built "stealth" tree looking tower).  It is the tower across the street near the suite of offices in the beige/light colored building.  I hope this helps you out!

Anyone have network (Sprint) problems today in the Overland Park area?  Specifically off of Wornall Rd. My girlfriend said she was having problems making calls all day.

Just be patient guys...A lot of towers have been upgraded but not transmitting.  Sprint will probably flip the switch when they announce our market.

I mapped a little more...didn't look to see where the tower was before hand.  Yeah one day soon....today Kernersville and tomorrow they'd be in Midway!  I gave up trying to guess where they would visit next lol.

I visited those areas and everything is working...same sites and serving cells.  

I haven't been back in that area since i mapped it.  I'll check it out and let you know.  They may have adjusted them because the site that's gonna serve that area isn't accepted yet.  

In Winston today. None of the known LTE spots seem to be on.

Where exactly? I had LTE all day at work.

LTE could be there...if you're not toggling the data connection yourself it could be 15 min before scans.   There are apps to help with this.

I thought Highpoint and Holden was an antenna near the mall.  If it is coming from that far away I would be impressed.

everything you see in sensorly (inside city limits) is from 1 tower.

 Greensboro and High Point appear to be moving slower than Winston.  That may not be factually correct.

I don't pay attention to there map...all of that in Wendover area is from one site.  Haven't been in that area since I bought my car from Modern Infiniti so I don't remember if there are any hills in the area.  

Yeah do it manually cause I don't see where it mapped you. I'll try to get down there when I get off.

Yeah it seems they've been focusing on the outskirts and surrounding rural areas. Have you looked at the coverage map on sensorly? I think they're avoiding my cell site which is a water tower. I don't even bother with 3g anymore. What's the use!

Yeah I mapped that last weekend...

I'm originally from Perry.  It's great to see Middle Ga coming along.  Can't wait to do some mapping next time I'm there!
