It might be issues with the new towers in the area. Which phones do you have issues with? If its is the gs5 try turning lte/mobile data off. It maybe a ecsfb issue. Could you check out signalcheck lite to see what technology 1900/800 you are connected to and post a screenshot.

Does anyone know what's going on in the Oakland area? I've been dropping calls like crazy recently. Sometimes with 4+ bars. It has been this way for about a month, but it's getting more frequent. I didn't have this problems when I visited Oklahoma last week.

Did any of you guys get the wrong rebate form when they sent it to you? The one I received in the box says it expired on 3/13/14. Do you know if I should use that one or the new one on the sprint website that says 5/8/14? Neither of them have the GS5 listed. 

It finally shipped! Only one more day with my masking tape reinforced EVO 3D.

Darn it Samsung. PhoneArena is reporting a phone from samsung with better specs here. What are the chances that this is actually being created and what do you think the timeframe would be? Is it even worth getting the gs5 now if this is coming out in a couple months?

I agree. It would be nice if they speed the rollout in Pittsburgh proper up a bit. I live in Oakland and am 5 blocks away from 2 towers, yet I only get 1 bar and no Wimax when inside my apartment. Hopefully they upgrade us to Spark right away when they finally get to upgrading these towers. Does anyone know what the likelihood of that happening is?

Does anyone know when the Oakland area is supposed to get LTE?

Someone from sprint's social care team recommended returning the note 3 until they learn more about the call quality issues on the Sprint community forum. That doesn't seem like a good sign.
