My iPhone 6+ FINALLY arrived but I am not getting the "vast" LTE coverage or speeds I was expecting in Elk Grove. Inside my house my phone still drops to 3G and 1x. Outside I get the same LTE I was getting on my iPhone 5. Were my expectations of holding an LTE signal inside my house too lofty?

Impressive b41... no bars and in a really busy area.
At what location or area?
-
I know that a few months ago it was speculated that more LTE would be lit up by mid October.
Any word on band 26 (800 LTE) deployment?

I heard the 6+ is having alot of bending issues due to it's size being too big and too thin.
Last I checked, Apple officially said 9 reports came in. I feel there's too many people leaving the phone in there pocket (front or back) and sitting. That and there probably wearing "skinny" jeans. ????

I'm still waiting for my 6+ to arrive and 800LTE to go live.

I've called around to local Corp Sprint stores and Best Buy. All seem to have "plenty" of 6's and there are a few 16gb 6+'s as well. 64 and 128 gb are hard to come by.

Just ordered 6+ from sprint so hopefully I get it soon! How there is no long wait time
They are still showing/quoting 4-6 weeks. I'm still waiting for mine to arrive.
-
Wow,
when I was at the store ordering my phone, they couldn't even print my Easy Pay agreement, only my receipt, and that's the number that's on my receipt. And I can't even get my Easy Pay agreement on MySprint. Plus, they had me put my email in, and the system never emailed my agreement to me at all.
Same here.

That was fast moving over the past few months to get everything online.

I'm glad it's well under way but just imagine if this contractor was chosen originally.

If anyone in Stockton has a spark capable go out and find more B41 sites gone live. I found two more right now. They're still not optimized as I'm getting 25-35 mbps and on one site I hit 50 mbps.
Pretty sure there are many more sites live with B41!
Once optimized, what speeds should we see?
-
As I await my iphone 6+, I stopped at my local sprint store (Elk Grove blvd) and ran a speed test using www.bandwidthplace.com. I was surprised to see the DL speed at 233mbps.
Is that reading accurate based on others speed tests using b41?

West coast northern California is utilizing all Huawei wimax TDD LTE equipment.
The federal government mandated the complete removal of these equipment as a condition of the buyout.
Sacramento and surrounding areas will get the full build out regardless of priority if they want to keep their spectrum.

@Lilotimz thank you. That is good news indeed.

In reading an article where Marcelo said Sprint would slow down the b41 deployment to a few markets, is it known if Sacramento is one of those "lucky" markets?

Nice to finally see these updates. It's great that we are finally getting what we were waiting for over the past few years. The last year has been grueling with the "I see trucks!" to "Wait, they're gone...and nothing else is happening." I'm definitely glad I stuck it out.
???? ???? me too. It was very excruciating this last 6-12 months.

Got LTE for the first time ever in East Sac last night at 56th and H!
Me too. Went to Corti Bros and had solid LTE inside and out.
-
Any sites that are broadcasting PCS 1900 LTE should (will) have LTE 800 live by the end of this year if the spectrum is unencumbered and free to deploy.
Can't wait for fast speeds, low latency, and building penetration. ????

Unless there is some incumbent public safety agency in the area still getting extensions from the FCC, I think it could start happening soon. Like in the next 30 days.
Robert
????????. Looks like all the waiting and LTE Envy will soon be over for Sprint, and iphone, customers.
-
Not to mention that the Note 4/iPhone 6 will have Band 26, which when enabled around Sacto Metro will allow better in building penetration and further coverage from towers. It is far too late in Triband deployment to consider a Uniband device anymore, unless you have no choice.
When should b26 get enabled around SacMetro?
-
I find it interesting that Sprint was not listed as a carrier during the keynote.
SprintCare also tweeted me that the iphone6 will not be SPARK enabled.
Hmm..

I was getting constant LTE in west sac at the river walk and in south sac at Florin & 24th area. Speeds are not that great yet but it's definitely progress. And I'm on an iphone5 ☺️
-
At cosumnes River College in Elk Grove..
B25 is hovering 1-3 Mbps here.

I'm sorry but CRC is South Sac, not Elk Grove.

Trust me.. I of all people would know for this market before the acceptance report is updated by Robert. There are some reports and screenshots of B25 out there but nothing has been officially "accepted" as of last night.
It's safe to say most reports are because of the Clear b41 being turned back on considering a few individuals with single band devices are saying they're not getting connections whereas those with triband devices are (another reason to get a triband device other than the fact that Sprint has over 140mhz of 2500 spectrum in this market).
I'm REALLY hoping/expecting the new iphone to be be SPARK enabled. If so, I'll be first in line ????

Decent speeds
What part of town did you get those speeds and what device do you have?

I'm confused....we already have had 3G
Cluster launched simply means that all the hardware has been changed with the new equipment. Has no bearing on LTE. LTE follows (after a few weeks typically) after a cluster launch.
