  1. As some of you may know, I formerly was banned from Sensorly contribution as I had a Sprint Galaxy Nexus. Well, I'm happy to say that I am now the proud owner of a black Motorola Moto X and I was wondering if I could help out some. I haven't been able to get the engineering screens though, so if anyone knows how to get to them on this phone please let me know and I'll do that too.

  2. I was in Centerburg for 5+hours and it never hit. My phone picks up LTE as far as all of the purple mapped in Columbus this far as well as all of the places my cousins gs3 does. It also connects immediately.

  3. Well, spent the day in Centerburg. I didn't get so much as a blip. Not even the Galaxy Nexus phantom LTE. The only time I had anything was for a brief second. Barely long enough for a screen shot.

This was taken just after I turned on route 3 off of 605 headed north.

I hope this is helpful. Sorry if it's duplicate info.

  4. I don't know if it means anything, but I saw a crew on a tower at 270 and 23. I don't even know if it's a sprint tower, but I thought I'd throw it out there. Guys on the ground and up the tower.

  5. its not any new info but I found it funny that in Easton I could take a single step to the left and have 4g and a single step to the right and not. wasn't aware it was so cut and dry lol

    Lol, I noticed that too!

  6. Does any one know if leaving signal check pro on constantly would be a battery use concern? Just to get the notification of 4g. I drive all over the place daily and could at least let everyone know if an area should be checked out. In trying to find a way to put my nexus to some use. Lol

  7. Well, I'm back out here connected to the Taylor Rd tower where I picked up phantom LTE last week. Definitely no LTE, but my 3g speeds are triple or better what they used to be. I guess that's something.

EDIT: It took way less time than normal to post the above message.

That serving ID is crazy looking, but appears to be new.

Those last two LTE engineering screenshots should be disregarded. The data appears offset by one line, and even then, some of it is not valid. It could be yet another problem for the poorly performing Galaxy Nexus.

Sorry guys, just trying to be helpful. I love my galaxy nexus and I just get really excited when I see lte show up on my screen.

  9. That serving ID is crazy looking, but appears to be new. Anyone free to try and find the tower broadcasting this signal and find the other two sectors?

How would I go about finding it?

  10. I hope these help. If not, I guess tough apples. In new to this helping and so forgive me if this info is either redundant or useless.

These just seemed like pretty far reach for our lone tower. (If indeed it is the same tower)

I'd also like to add that up to this point I had nothing as far as LTE goes out here.

  11. Drove down Morse today. Speeds were between 4 and 20 Mbps. This was the fastest Speed Test I got.

If we're posting screen shots of speeds, this is my personal fav. LTE at Cleveland and Morse.

  12. Still working on getting my MSL so I can help more with the engineering screens, but I do have this screenshot I took at 23N and Lazelle. Seems like our tower is pretty strong. I couldn't connect, but it was visible.

    You have an android right?

If so, dl MSL reader and run it if you're rooted. If not rooted, call sprint and tell customer service and tell them you need ur MSL to get ur phone working again....

    I've done both ways effectively....

I was rooted, but I unrooted and flashed back to stock so I could test out LTE both ways. I plan on rerooting, but didn't have a chance last night. I'm familiar with the msl reader so as well as getting it in terminal, but I lost the number somewhere. I didn't think about calling sprint though. I completely forgot that that's how we used to do it. I'm also going to try digiblur's instructions, but I am going to reroot soon either way.

  14. So I'm not sure how to get this engineering screen thing. I want to help and have been told not to map because of my phone. I drive a truck around central Ohio and surrounding counties and I could log this stuff petty well I think. Anyone got a simple tutorial?

I have Sensorly and Signal Check Pro. Anything else I need?
