Most of my calls sound really tinny especially when it is a Sprint to Sprint call.
-
The way they are releasing LTE makes me glad I didn't let anyone talk me into switching to Verizon.

I also saw LTE on 5400 S near 4000 west at that weird turn around thing by Big Lots.
Now I get home and I have LTE at 4200 s 2200 w.
Looks like Sprint is in kind of a rollout blitz right now. LOL
-
I'm at the target on 5600 w and about 3100 s and I'm picking up LTE here. Dismal speeds but it is there.
-
I'd love to atleast make voice calls from home with out them cutting out.

Exactly what I am thinking at this point. I have Comcast internet at home so LTE is un-necessary. At least it was til I updated my S4 to 4.3 and now I have to reboot my phone or use sprints data to watch a video.
-
I am frequently in that area and I get 3G everywhere and I have the Galaxy S4. It may be only 2 maybe 3 bars but it works.
-
that blip has been there for a while as well as the one on the south side of hill.

Oh man . I wan hoping that it was starting here. I work on Riverdale Rd. and even sprint 3g is better than the WIFI here.
-
It looks like there is some LTE going on up in Ogden. Sensorly is showing some purple at 900 w and Riverdale Dr.
-
I work in Ogden on Riverdale Rd. and I was using 3G all day since the wifi at my work is worse than the 3g. I never saw it switch to 1X at all.
-
Cedar also only recently (last few years)got 3G so there is probably a good chance that they already had some of the equipment in place.
-
The other day I was told by a sprint rep in the layton store they are going to be turning on LTE in ogden this week
That would be AWESOME!! Especially since I work in Ogden. However I do not believe anything that store reps say so I will take it with a grain of salt.

i'm planning on pre ordering an iphone 5s for my wife in about a week because she has the 4s which isn't even 4g capable. i sure hope there will be some 4g for her to use on her new phone. i know a lot of guys here are android but anyone who is interested, live blogs of the iphone event will start at 11 MST.
I am all for android but I do respect Apple and their products. I am a techie and love to see what new stuff is coming out. I am interested in seeing what the iPhone 5s is going to bring to the table.

if i remember right illest is in w valley?
I hope they are working there. I live on the T-ville-West Valley border and my service has been total garbage since the first of last month. I have to walk out to 2200 w just to get enough signal to make a call.
-
maybe sprint is doing some important ish today. i have litterally been stuck in 1x all day -_-
Where are you at?
-
Lately I agree with you. After LTE showed up around N. Temple and Redwood and a few other sites it was busy in here. Now it is quiet as a church. Maybe Sprint is completing a bunch of sites and then they will flip the switch to all of them at once.

I drove down US 6 in Spanish Fork to I15 tonight and it never hit LTE. Last week when I was there I had to toggle airplane on/off mode to finaly hit it.

It seems like I have to toggle airplane mode to get LTE anywhere right now.
-
On my S4 I have to turn on airplane mode and then turn it off in order to get LTE to show up. I drive from Taylorsville to Ogden every day and it never switches to LTE.
I look forward to the time where my phone doesn't have to choose between 3G and LTE.

I have 4 towers within a mile and a half of my house and I get a signal of about -90dbm at best and usually around -109 most often. I am hoping that there is work going on in my area. I got the addresses for the towers but have yet to have the time to go check out the sites. I will make that my goal this weekend. When I go out there am I looking for more than just new boxes on the ground and people physically working on the towers?
-
I am at work at Cutrubus Cadillac on Riverdale Rd. and sprint's data has been on and off almost all day. Heres to hoping they are going to switch LTE on up sere soon.
-
check out sensorly. it helps a bit.....and shows areas poking up....
some areas though like logan, and tremonton, were probably launched to check things out, before they hit big cities...
as I am in logan this week, it is nice...BUT 1 thing....it takes a bit to dl an app???
very odd...
humm just did one. and it was fine... Maybe it was just last night...
Maybe all 10 of the people that live there in Logan were using the mobile network at the same time.
I KEED I KEED!!!! LOL
-
I live right in that area and I will check to see what I can find maybe drive around a lil bit after work.
-
They never said anything about LTE, I'm just hoping. LOL.
-
I talked to Sprint and they told me that their techs knew about a problem with a single cell tower here and it should be fixed by Sunday Aug. 4th by 8:20 p.m. I guess I will report back and let y'all know if LTE is here.

I have never received a text like that. Wonder why some get it and some don't?
