Noticed as I was walking back from lunch today that there are workers up on my local tower at Winton and North Bend in Finneytown. I've been waiting a long time to see some activity up there. Looks like they're building the supports now, so hopefully they'll be lifting some hardware into place very soon.

http://www.antennasearch.com/sitestart.asp actually has every tower around any address you put in. It does confirm that the picture above is Sprints. They all show as being owned by Clearwire on this sight.
Agreed. I was incorrect on that one. Hard to believe the poor signal that close to the tower. They must have built Dave and Buster's with lead walls.

Got a picture of what I believe is the LTE tower serving West Chester and Sharonville. Taken from 275 E
I'm starting to think that one isn't a Sprint tower. I was just at Dave and Buster's on Saturday which is only about a quarter mile from there, and I basically got zero reception inside. I don't get must inside Tri-County mall either, which is about the same distance in the other direction.

I'm in my house in College Hill right now and have LTE. I just went to my local site a week ago and didn't see a single new thing, but I'm picking up LTE somehow. Either I don't know what I'm looking for, I'm getting signal from a different tower, or they work really fast. Any way to see exactly where I'm picking up the signal? I even went for a drive a few minutes ago to report a little bit of Sensorly data.

I rode over to my local tower over the weekend and there's nothing new to report there. Still just the newer looking conduit and some spray paint markings on the ground.
I tried the tower behind P&G in Mason yesterday and got no LTE there either. Not surprised with either, just giving updates.

I recently spent a day in the Columbus and Bloomington, IN area. My phone lasted longer on LTE than it ever has on EVDO, and I was even using it much more often. I'm pretty excited to finally have LTE here.
I don't really have any observations as far as building penetration though. I had fairly good signal everywhere I went, so I had fairly good signal inside as well.

Glad to see this. Definitely helps to know what I'm looking for.

What part of town is this? The pics certainly look promising.
In college Hill. That's the tower right near the corner of Winton and North Bend.
I'm definitely curious what all of the existing equipment on the tower is though. I don't know what the difference in all of the RRUs is.

Just registered today, but it looks like maybe they're in the initial stages of putting in some new equipment at my local tower. There is some fresh conduit in place from what I can tell. I posted pics in another thread.

I've been following this site for a few months, and finally stopped by my local Sprint tower to take some pictures, and see if anything is new. I don't think anything on the tower itself is new, but it looks like the cabling in the first picture is fresh. I'm curious what all is included on the tower though. We're a WiMax market already, so I'm making an assumption that something on there is for that, but I don't know much about it otherwise.

Looks like they've lifted at least a couple of antennas into place. I haven't gotten close enough to really see what's new.
