Actually Sprint already has more then 1 t1 line at each of their cell sites. What they are putting in for 4g/3g is a type of circuit called IPAG (Internet Protocol Agragate Gateway. might have that slightly wrong will have to check later) These circuits are adjustable and capable of up to 1Gb/s but usually set for 100meg or less currently. They run to 2 10Gb/s to their serving offices.
