I regularly go to the western half of Wyoming on I-80 from Evanston to Rock Springs and used to only get roaming, but back in July I was getting native 3G coverage. Used to exceed my roaming limit everytime I went there. Last time I didn't.

The SID is 6007. The system status shows as Sprint. Sent over the diagnostics as you requested.

It shows as non roaming but for some reason it comes across as AT&T as the 1xRTT provider in Signal Check Pro.

I travel to Rock Springs, Wyoming a couple of times a year and noticed that I am not roaming. Last time I maxed out my roaming limit pretty quickly. The speeds seemed to have improved a bit, in the day time it had 0.3 meg down but last night I hit over 1 meg down.

Can someone instruct me how to reach the engineering screen?

I got the Note 4 a couple of days after it was released when a BB preorder didn't pick it up. I generally love the phone but here is what I am finding.
* The fingerprint scanner works but not for my thumbprint
* The battery life seems better that my Note 2 when it was new.
* Wifi calling is great but I occasionally have issues with IVR systems recognizing keystrokes.
* Even with lots of ram I have seen the google search lockup when inputing a text string
* Though I can now pick up Spark in some parts of the Salt Lake area those areas are small and coverage hasn't improved and speeds in most areas is unchanged.

That has been one of my big complaints as well. Not sure what the deal is, but i live in Lehi and ever since Sprint lit up the 4G tower here my voice quality has been TERRIBLE. I drop calls daily! How is it that they fix one thing and break another? Is anyone else experiencing poor voice quality?

Bosox1, I am closest to, though not exactly close to,. I hit quite regularly from my home. The latter tower is where I connect for LTE. I have also seen connections to BSLs in Lehi and Lindon. I live on a rise above PG east of the Murdock Canal. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk

I have been having Voice issues in Utah County. I am in PG but my nearest tower hasn't had the upgrades turned on but I also can hit another tower that has been upgraded. I think when switching between the two things drop. I used to never have issues when using voice around the Point now it drops.

It figures that Century link would be part of this. That is one inept and behind the times company. They only offer 1.5 meg DSL in my neighborhood.

I was reading a thread in the Sprint forums and a CS rep said the following regarding about tower upgrades in Logan and Ogden
"Logan has four towers and currently two of them are undergoing 4G/LTE upgrades and Ogden has several towers with about half scheduled for 4G/LTE upgrades over the next 90 days. Currently there is a ticket that has been issued for service in Ogden (ticket # 2108594)."

This made me laugh. I was on Sprint LTE but was also roaming on Verizon's CDMA network.

I agree. It will be nice to be able to stream play music in my car without it buffering constantly as well.
A couple of years ago I was able to stream I Heart Radio while driving through Provo Canyon from Heber to Orem without a break up.

Fmpro, the best I have pulled in this market is 16 down in Spanish Fork and then this morning in Draper. I did pull 25 down in Lancaster, CA and I recall hitting similar speeds in the Bay Area last month.

There is a newer-ish tower at the top of 200 S just before you go in the canyon designed to hit most of the area against the mountain. I'm not sure who's it is. I'll do a check.
That's a Tmobile tower. I was up there yesterday. I only live a couple of blocks from there.

Has any new towers been added for NV in Utah or have they just been overhauls? I live in an area of Pleasant Grove that is against the mountain and voice coverage gets sketchy, let alone data.

Just curious...has anyone been having voicemail issues lately? For the past few weeks my voicemails take a while to show up then when they do it shows them but won't play them for another 10-20 min. It will show that there is a voicemail but it has 0:00 worth of message then 10-20 min later I can actually listen to it and it will show 0:12 or 0:22, however long the voicemail message is. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue.
Things should be settled in Salt Lake County by early next week, then one more week till Utah county gets lit :-)
How do you know Utah county will be getting it in a week?
This morning I did see a boom lift parked next to a tower off Orem 800 N and US 189.

The day LTE went live I got speeds greater than 10 down. Now I get less than 4.

I agree completely. If they can complete the network rollout by early to mid Dec I'm fine with crappy service until then.
We've lived this long with crappy service, what is a couple more weeks?

T-Mobile LTE & Network Discussion V2

I test drove one of their phones a week ago and found that their network was pretty saturated. I would get sub-meg LTE download speeds and considerably higher upload speeds. Their HSPA network seemed faster in most areas. Speeds would be great when you are with in a block of a tower, otherwise it was crap.
