  1. Had a couple things and an itchy post finger. The S3 picks up 1900 . There is no 800 LTE in our market, at least that we know of. That LTE on Sensorly is 2600 LTE, unless you have a triband phone or access point you won't pick it up. Sensorly throws all Sprint LTE on the same map.

Well that's just lovely. I don't have an upgrade until next November... Thank you sprint.

  2. Hello, quick question. I just noticed today after checking sensorly on both my phone, and the website, that there is LTE live less than a quarter mile from me. I can't connect. Anyone know why? I've connected to LTE before on my GS3 in Grove City. It connected immediately without my having to do anything.

So far I've; Updated PRL, restarted phone, Changed the connection type from CDMA back and forth to CDMA/LTE/EVDO, and toggled airplane mode multiple times. The best I have gotten was x800 with EVDO. The x800 would only stay for about 30 seconds after updating the PRL.

Hopefully someone can help me out. Being this close to the site, I should have no problem connecting at all.

Edit: Changed picture to more accurately show where I am trying to connect.

  3. The tower at Norton road and Brandenberry, right by Sullivant avenue, behind the car wash, has had boxes piling up inside the fence. I drove by earlier today and there were a LOT of changes. For this site, the top platform (for lack of a better term), had sprint equipment on it. Now however, the platform below that has new antennas and whatnot on it, both platforms have long wires hanging from them. I haven't seen anyone there, but obviously there is work being done. Is it uncommon for sprint to install antennas on two different platforms or is it safe to assume that the work being done is not sprint?

  4. So I don't have a 5S, it's just a 5. But anyways here are the pics for that site. I don't think there are any changes and I saw no evidence of digging or back haul around the tower. Just to confirm, this is the tower right behind the car wash, right?gudy3esu.jpgeba3e7un.jpg

That's the one. Disappointing, that truck gave me some hope. Ah well, thanks for checking it out.

  5. I think I seen some guys running fiber to the site on Norton Road and Brandenberry. There was a truck there digging. The truck had a giant spool of cable on it and it was pretty close to the site. Not entirely sure though as I was only driving by. Couldn't stop was in a hurry. If anyone in that area has some time maybe you could swing by.

  6. Don't think too much into that. The thing happened when 4G WIMax was brought here. Columbus wasn't on anyone's radar and them, blam! We were a 4G WiMax city out of no where. Even though we may not be on the elite list of cities that are getting LTE, we can all be confident enough to say we will have it very soon based off the ton of work being done in our market. This is Columbus. You should be used to this city not getting the credit or publicity it deserves...lol.

It's funny that you say that about columbus never getting publicity, because it's true, yet Columbus is always mentioned in movies, T. V shows and some music, but nothing ever noteworthy. We're like some mythical city or something lol
