just made a trip to Mark twain lake, wife just got a g2 last night acc i didn't have signal check installed yet. Disappointed I still didn't get any thing on our near the lake though. Corporate prl on my HTC one gets decent speeds from us cellular

  2. Yeah it's just weird that all the purple areas go to white with a spark device. I will going up there to pick my boat up soon so I guess I will find out.

  3. I was looking at Sprint coverage maps today and noticed if I select this phone it says I will have no service near Mark twain lake Missouri(a us cellular area) but if I switch to m7 it says I will have roaming service. Anyone know why the difference? Otherwise love the phone. The one I currently have will be exchanged as soon as my best buy has another grey in stock because of very poor Wi-Fi(20db+ less) than the demo unit. But other than that great phone lol

  4. In my experience, rural northeast Missouri Sprint does really well especially with being able to roam to us cellular and get 3g with a corporate prl. T mobile has poor coverage even in Troy and wide farther north, Verizon isn't as good but should roam fine and at&t is good till you get a little farther north and the price difference is significant.

  5. My question then is simple. If 800 LTE is where it's at, then why wasn't it released to the wild instead of whatever it is we have now? That is just stupidity if you ask me.

They couldn't start using 800 till they shut down the Nextel network. Wimax is on the same frequency and had the same building penetration issues. Wimax won't hand off to 3g so if you leave it on your battery drains crazy fast and I never had it in Wentzville much less Troy. I'm really impressed with the coverage we have so far given how many towers there still are to go. I do service work and travel all over the metro area and have LTE more times than not.

  6. I was actually getting usable speeds from the Dugan site in Troy. I mapped when I could, forgot to when I was at sacred heart for soccer. There is a dot in city park where I first picked it up yesterday waiting for the parade. I didn't map much yesterday cause I couldn't actually use the data so I switched to cdma only
