Pretty impressed with the edge conversions in LA and MS as well. Not sure what Legere, Neville, or magentans have to do with it, but okay.

What is unreal is Verizons LTE maps for competitors. Tmobiles map is a little old, but man sprints map is way off. Sprint got a major shaft on that one.
-
They must not be on the unlimited LTE plan. That is not throttled.Per my in laws plan, yes after 5gb they are throttled to edge speeds.
-
If you have the 5gb plan, Unlimited LTE plan does not get throttledDoesn't T-Mobile's family planed throttle you down after 5gb?
-
Was it out before tmobile had their plan, or was it in reaction to tmobile? That commercial has aired since the day they released the plan? Just curious, is sprints plan two lines only or more ate a discounted rate? What about the 2 for 100 family plan right now on sprint with unlimited everything?

Only unlimited LTE family plan, key word being familyJust saw a commercial of Tmobile claiming they have the only unlimited LTE plan... Well, that's clearly wrong. How can they claim that

Trolls are everywhere

The irony is that half of the stuff in this thread does not belong here. Most of it is trolling or unrelated, but I guess it is up to who looks at it to decide.

Not to mention the towers near the race tracks barely worked when races weren't happening. I was surprised that they didn't have those spots reinforced.

Glad to see them do this, I know several people on Tmobile that can use this. I think its a great move.
-
So basically you are eager to be a micro cell for T-Mobile, in which you pay for the broadband to run that on also while paying T-Mobile for your service to, sounds good to me.
Lte booster does not require broadband
-
Router or a booster, your pickNot an lte booster. A wifi router.
-
Not sure if you know, but T-mobile Unlimited LTE lines come with 5GB free tethering per line also.So maybe this will kick sprint into making the unlimited data $50 w/easy pay or BYOD. I dont see Sprint being able to undercut this, besides giving out xGB of tethering per line for free.

No, The 2 for $100 Unlimited LTE does not have any caps, limits, or throttling on the data. But there is sometimes a cap on the unthrottled data. I was wondering if there was a limit on the non lte data before you got throttled.

They also text you before you reach limit and once you are throttled. So then a user on t mobile (being throttled) wouldn't know it unless they checked their account. And wondering why does it say 20mbs when I can't even watch YouTube! Kinda makes em look bad too. If you ask me.

I saw someone say a few days ago that sprint is doing the same. A lot of people don't pay their bills and with the tax only down eip model it sets up companies to take a big hit from loser customers.I just read on tmonews that the company is changing there credit standard with customers and people are really getting mad over it. Some have to wait a year or even 3 before they can get another eip. Tmobile is just looking out for themselves but like one comment said "this goes to show you that when T-Mobile gives and gives that when they make a change people get mad at the change." People are used to the carrier being one big party but forget that it's a business at the end of the day.
-
so, since fri, I've tested 7 sites. 1 site got 15+, 1 site got 2-5 and the others have all been BELOW 1m down.
honestly, I feel like I'm paying for something that doesn't work right. I'm told there is an lte network but, what good are the credentials when I'm getting speeds that aren't even acceptable for 3g? this was after 2 years of dealing with 3g speeds that weren't acceptable for 3g.
it's congested? why do the other carriers not have this problem? so sprint installed equipment that was immediately inadequate for the workload? I understand that sprint might be better than the other carriers depending on the site but, that has not been my experience so far. and the lte service didn't just go up yesterday. if indeed the problems are as bad as they seem to me, why haven't they been addressed by now? I couldn't even view pictures on fb in a reasonable amount of time. I don't expect it to be instantaneous but, more than 30 seconds is just unacceptable for the amount of money I'm paying for data service.
apparently, my expectations are WAY off because i don't see anyone in this market complaining about it in this thread. now I'm stuck with 2 years of snake oil.
While I do not feel those results are what should be expected, please keep in mind that the network upgrades are not complete. They are still upgrading and tweaking the network. Unfortunately, what you have in that area is where it is at the moment. Also, the other carriers do have congestion problems. No carrier is immune to that, it just depends on the location. If there are sites you know are having major problems, be sure to report them to Sprint.

Anyone having issues with their Note 2 locking up using sensorly/LTE discovery?

I have seen it at times. I believe it was LTE discovery causing it

The S4 has the edge over the Note 2 from my observations and the Note 2 is solid to begin with.AJ, I couldn't agree more with your EVO LTE comment, as when I am driving somewhere that there is 4G on my gf's phone but not mine... I cycle the radio or do a quick PRL update and then it finds it... but sometimes by the time that I get my speedtest app running, it switches back to 3G... I want to see how the LG G2 performs b/c I have heard many complaints about the S4 on verizon having really weak signal (it is funny that verizon will do nothing for these ppl, but they ruffle their feathers and squawk "best network"). And I haven't heard either way for the sprint variant. I know that the G2 will be triband, which is appealing, but I want it to work before the bands are rolled out too.

It varies with phone and location. But, LTE quite often becomes about worthless around a -109 or -110. You can receive data at those levels, but your transmit signal just does make it to the cell site and be useable. I actually am OK with seeing the LTE drop off and then see the phone lock on to EVDO. The EVDO will actually work better.
I am now thinking that the HTC EVO LTE phone actually had it right. Just drop off LTE at -109 and forget about it. Some of the other phones hold on down to -125 or so and it gives you trouble because it is not going to work at those levels.
The HTC phone was heavily criticized because it dropped off LTE at a -109 while the other phones held on to the LTE. This made HTC look bad. But while the other phones might have held on to the LTE, it did not work. It is more useful if the phone allows the LTE to drop and gives you EVDO.
The problem with the Evo was that it was garbage in the RF dept. When the Evo has a -109 and is dropping to 3g, my note II is sitting at - 94 rocking LTE.

I have never had that happen before on this rom.M WiFi is turning itself on over and over again. Each time I turn it off, it turns itself back on. You removed sprint optimizer, so it couldnt be that. There isn't an auto connect on the WiFi, I already unchecked the notify me when there is WiFi option, even the use wireless networks at the location services settings. Finally, I found a zip that I could flash that stopped the WiFi from turning off and on. I'm just asking that in your next update, could you fix this? I'll give you the URL to the fix. Probably did something to my note, but I have yet to find it. I think it has something to do with the connection optimizer. Yet, you posted it on the xda website as a fix and not for your own ROM..?

Tried on stock unrooted S4 for you but get this when running:

Shared minute pools with mobile to any mobile and nights and weekends free, you add data to the lines you need for unlimited. You will have to evaluate the best option for you. Also find out if any discounts would apply to your company.Sprint will call me back in 1 hour as we need to analyze the best option. Can the business essentials be shared? Unlimited data option?

They have a business essentials plan. Call and speak to someone in business dept.Site is still down after the timer zero out. What is the best plan for 13 lines? We are currently on 1500/min Everything Data and on a 20GB Small Buz share plan. Can we have 3 of the Everything Data plan on business account?
