sprints been turning off IDEN towers for the past year or so in diff areas.so its not they did all this within 9 days....

R u sure that's for data? I think 800mhz is just for calls right now. I don't even think sprint has a phone that would get 800mhz data. Right?

thats crazy, i didnt think the Burgh would see 800mhz till next year...this is very exciting news!!!

Out of curiosity, is there a page to view network Vision enhancements for the burgh? Has anyone noticed better 3g speeds between 1 and 2.5mbps?

only site that i know of is   network.sprint.com

after sprint did some work on a tower that covers my house the speed jump from 0.03mbps to like 1.80mbps durning the day and ive hit 2.4mbps (max) very late at night around 2:30am on a week day BUT the speeds didnt last that long the speeds are around 0.40mbps but still not enough speed to do videos and what not...guess this was temp fix?

I am talking about the one across from sams club, just after the walmart plaza in greensburg. It is the one with giant eagle and petsmart in the same plaza.

More LTE in greensburg almost to Jeannette. I am at target and have full LTE now. Very hopeful that they will continue covering greensburg latrobe etc. They are making significant progress very quickly.

which target are u talking about? the one in Greensburg on rt 30  or are u talking about the target in Irwin on rt30 by gaint eagle??

Anyone know what's going on with the build out in the eastern suburbs? Doesn't seem like much has happened lately besides a portion of Greensburg pike lighting up. No expansion in Wilkinsburg at all & and one spot of 4g in Monroeville.

we really need LTE in Irwin/North Huntingdon and nearby's...3G is super slow here

there is also new LTE in between Youngwood and South Greensburg

with a speed test of 7mbps down and 3mbps upload

I first noticed LTE on April 10th in Moon Twp and reported it on this thread. I dont know if thats the very first location or time, but maybe.

wow then they must of started around February....

im really shock on how fast sprint is building out LTE! the way their moving everyone in a 25 miles of Pittsburgh will have LTE in a few short months...

anybody know what date sprint started building LTE in the pittsburgh area?

I am seeing 18 down 5 up to as little as 3 down and 3 up. So it varies. But the average of 10 down and 5 up I would say.

GOOD!!! i hope they cover alot of area....waited a long time for wimax not to show up...they are doing much much better with the rollout of LTE

All I did was turn on cdma/lte. It did the rest on its own!

Just wanted to chime in on the other end, Latrobe, Pa and surrounding areas are seeing sporadic 4G now. EHRPD is everywhere and I am mapping daily with Sensorly! Ive seen it in the city of latrobe and derry area.

WOW thats crazy!!!!! i just look at Sensorly it looks like they are going right down RT 30 from Latrobe to Greensburg then going to Irwin which is where im at,im hella jealous right now u guys got LTE..tho this is very very good...keep me posted love hearing about new coverage around me!!

i too also notice EHRPD is everywhere....i see u have a note 2 also...did the phone pick up the LTE on its own or did u have to do sumthing to make it look for the LTE coverage?

nice speeds...i was freaking out with i saw sum cover for the pittsburgh area!!!!...my LG LTE phone should be here tomorrow ill be sure to drive around to see if i can pick up LTE anywhere (fingers cross)
