I believe it has something to do with the triband phones as i stated early i just switched from my s4 to an s5 and I'll be honest here the lte signal is terrible unless I'm within 50 yards of a tower, i was connected to band 41 out in rossford for a minute and was great signal next to the tower drove down road a bit -115db. In areas where i know lte used to be good on s4 im on 3g. I actually just use my phone for cdma only now because the connection for my lte is awful again this isnt a rant. But i am agreeing with other guys post on lte strength i understand inside a building but this is outside also, the s4 ran on 1900 lte my s5 connected according to signal check to 2500 lte with bad signal then jumped back to 1900 full signal a couple yards down the road.

Even sites that are high capacity are starting to slow way down too. Probably more boost and Sprint customers now or people are now noticing that we have LTE. Band 41 aka 2500 as started in Toledo with many sites with equitment up amd a few already broadcasting. That will help with the issues. Even more with 800 once it starts deploying as well.
LG G2
I decided just run my s5 on cdma only this triband radio struggles for signal, the phones are more advanced than the network itself so hopefully spark goes live because the lte current band range is proving to be a big problem right now but loving my 2 mb 3g speeds haha

Just recently upgraded from the s4 to the s5 and I love the phone but man the lte is giving me tons of issues...for example just switching off of wifi my phone never connects to a network I have to airplane mode recycle the device. On top of that I noticed my phone will stick to 3g and when it trys to connect back to lte it will either not work at all so I would have to reboot my phone or it would freeze my phone completely so requiring a battery pull. Considering I have had this happen to me about 3 times in the week I have had the phone. My s4 connected great to lte now in areas where I used to have great signal I have bad signal on the s5 or In areas I know lte is their I have 3g.... I know this phone is tri-band but don't see why it would cause this much trouble.

I noticed my Lte performance has slowed. I used to easily get 20mb out in rossford area now im getting around 4-5mb with the occasional 26mb, noticing streaming has started to buffer again like it did on 3g. Not sure whats going on thought most sites were being coverted to high capacity sites?

Anyone running the s5 on here? Just recieved my loyalty upgrade and noticed the phone likes to stick to 3g a ton and never switches back until i force it using airplane mode?

Yea I was also wondering where the posts went. He for sure was pretty upset lol oh well we all have our moments but in the end we have LTE!!! Lol

im going to say its not the phone when im Toledo its half works half crap kind of deal.In fact I was just over by the mall and I could barly use my phone at all. I really dont think with what progress has been made that somthing would not be accepted soon like a month or a little more, maybe even all of towers in Toledo.. of cource these are just my opinions with what I see out and about. Id say if you have to go to another carrier than do so till things get finshed. Ive been blessed with having LTE at home(tho I use wifi) I will say its a night and day difference between new and old.
Just wish they would have mentioned that our network would become useless during the process lol but I've been told by three reps that end of March problems will be gone so they have a week and that's about it with me lol been paying for a service for to long know and frankly I feel stupid for it lol hopefully one day they do fix it but guess we will see one day.

With new equitment and old equitment it will cause issues like you have explained, til they have upgraded every tower your most likley going to have that till than.
Thanks for the answer I am simply just verifying that it's not just my phone since my whole family has an s4 and we have the same problems. I have been in the 4g areas and making a phone call was useless and we all know the economy sucks and we can't afford to waste money so just wondering if I should look at other carries for now that's all, until sprint follows through with their word which has yet to honestly happen, I am a little on edge for paying them lol.

you should know this is not the place to talk about that for real. Its the network thing call sprint.

Yes I do know that and Btw I have called sprint four times in the last three months, I am simply getting input from other sprint users in my area.

I understand they are upgrading towers but is anyone noticing a ridiculous amount of issues with making phone calls where it be the call won't place or will drop or really high pitch noises coming through the phone?

I picked this charger up a while ago and it works great in my car. I can run sensorly and my phone will actually charge. There are a couple models that support different phones but they are interchangeable.
I have a good charger but problem is I'm in and out of my vehicle so much my phone never gets a chance to charge lol

I picked me up a new extended battery case for my phone that I'm going to use so I'm going to be running sensorly all over the city to help get a heavy map of sprint.

It should get even better once they get more and more towers with LTE online, its good that most of the towers ryan and i have seen are high capacity too. Now lets just hope within the year they put up 2500 LTE somewhere in the market..i want to test my new triband phone out

I'm sure my contract will be up by the time that happens lol my friend had s4 mini and I hope we do get spark although they could have came out with a better icon for it lol the sun looks kinda goofy. And waste of notification bar space. Should just rid of Lte and Call it spark.

With older sites the location is off that have not been upgraded yet thats probably why. New and accepted sites have the correct info. No biggie tho, thank you jim just wanted to pass it along to ya

Oh ok, yea no problem, still a rookie when it comes to spotting what is ours, need to take some time to learn.
