Has anybody messed around with the LTE scan timer under the LTE record menu? The default is 30. Does this mean that the phone looks for a LTE connection every 30 seconds?##3282# edit mode evdo and change settings from cdma hrd/lte to just cdma/lte has greatly improved my ability to connect to lte sites

Yeah I didn't check the actual signal as I was driving, but it was full bars.Wow great speeds over and over. Did you have great signal during them??

Got some more from Houston. Most of these were taken while driving 45 MPH. Pings are a little slow because I was using the Austin server which usually gives me the best results.

A 5x5 LTE connection maxes out at 37Mbps. So there had to be a server error in your speedtest.

I figured and didn't believe it. It was still fun to look at. It was running in the 30s and then at the very end jumped up to 40.

I got that on 518 near Pearland Pkwy.I drove from Alvin, through Manvel and then over to the west side of Pearland off of SH288 and I had nada today. Even where I connected in Alvin yesterday seemed to be offline. I am betting they were just testing yesterday, but hopefully it will all be online for the official launch date tomorrow.

I got this in Pearland, TX outside of Houston. I don't believe it. A little further down the road got 23 down and 8 up.

I believe this is H003XC250 in Houston at the West Park Toll Road and Beltway 8. Sorry for the crappy pictures, I was driving 75 MPH and held down the shutter on the my EVO LTE. Wish I had my DSLR and wasn't driving.
Always wondered how they worked on antennas a top transmission lines. Not for the faint of heart, but I wouldn't expect the gentlemen who do this for a living to be scared of much. I'm especially fascinated with this as I am an Electrical Engineer (Don't mess around with HV though). Because of this site, all I do on my commute now is stare at cell towers and power lines.
