  1. I just mapped a very little bit and it updated are you still having trouble? Also are you able to hold on to lte the tower must be kicking me off. Speed test showed 3g was twice as fast as 4g. (.9mbps vs 1.7mpbs) I was on commonwealth dr it would only hold on til -91db. 3g is fine at 1.7mbps I just wanted to map more.

haveing no problem at all with holding on to lte just my point wont show up on the map I checked my build prop out and it is set to sprint so idk

  2. I heard samsung phones had issues there should be a number after the carrier like (310120). Sometimes the number would not be right for some reason. You may want to post in the signal check thread the developer would see it and help more.

that is what is going on then it just sucks I think my points in sensoly are being dumped too much of what I mapped is not showing up on the map

  3. When I drove into my neighborhood (Adams ridge), I realized that there was no 4g once you passed up the Walgreens. I asked sprint why this was and they said that one of the towers was having issues. Wouldn't you know it, the faulty tower was the one that gave me 4g coverage from my house. So with that said, I no longer have a 4g connection from my house, which is a shame, especially because literally 1/4 mile from my house there is 3 bars of solid LTE. Sprint said it could even be a couple months before it is fixed. If I want even 1 puny bar of 4g from my house, I have to sit in my driveway with my phone over my head, and I will hold that connection for a mere 5 seconds before I switch back to 3G; and that's if I'm lucky. Even though I'm psyched that cranberry/ mars finally got 4g, it really sucks that I have to wait even longer for something that most people in my area already have. But, what can I do but be patient and wait.. Just wanted to check in and see if anyone else had this problem as well or if it was just me.

ok now I am just going to say this but at ypur hoise you have wifi or you can leech just for tye time being we got 4g when we shop and hang out so its good and it wont take long to fix the tower

  4. Mars also released LTE today. Speeds there are excellent! I had the signal almost all the way to route 8! Someone should map all this new 4g..

I just drove from 19 out 228 to saxenberg got some lte on rt 8 too mapping all the way

  5. Has anyone noticed an increase of dropped called since the deployment? Not an excessive amount but periodically. I wasn't sure if it was due to tower maintenance.

  6. So that is just the 1x on 800mhz? I assume the LTE is still on 1900?

If the 800 is operable that means its been NV'd right? Does that also mean the 800 LTE is installed but hasn't been activated yet? Sorry for the newb questions

yes when evdo 800 is active the towe has been upgraded and just some small stuff left befor 1900 lte is on as far as 800lte is a minor upgrade to the tower

  7. The max theoretical speed for a CDMA EVDO '3G' throughput of data is 3.1Mb/s... Now this is with the sun shining, birds singing and a smile from the big man upstairs... you would have to be VERY close to the tower, upgraded equipment and backhaul, and no one else on the network at that moment.

That being said, I have been hitting 2.5Mb/s with increasing regularity as Cranberry Twp. Pa gets closer to LTE deployment.

And I will be driving to butler tonight to see family... and detour to do a little mapping with sensorly... my girlfriend might kill me but who cares, we got to test the new LTE! (and she's warming to the fact that she will be able pintrest at lightning speed, lol)

I have seen good speeds in cranberry as well the one thing I have noticed is that cdma 800 is up and running I think this meens the towers are upgraded and are just waiting for the finishing touches for lte
