I have been monitoring this site for a while for updates about Network Vision. Yesterday I started noticing that I had a stronger 3G signal from my appartment in south Seattle and ran some speed tests to confirm. Up until this week, I was getting an average of 400-800Kbps downloads. Sprint must have pushed some magic 3G button because when I ran the tests earlier today, I was getting upwards of 2 megs =)
Where in South Seattle? I work in South Park and I'm usually sitting at between 1 bar and nothing.

I've never heard what the brand name is, but it is fortified glass of some kind, but I don't think it's quite as good as Gorilla Glass. Prior to my GNex I've had 3 other smart phones, all with Gorilla Glass and none of them scratched and I didn't use a screen protector. I've only had this GNex about a month and have already developed a minor scratch. I'm thinking I may start using a protector but it'd be a shame to cover up this beautiful screen with anything that wasn't completely invisible.

now with gorilla glass I think the scenarios that people need the extra protection have gone down.
GNex doesn't have Gorilla Glass.

Wow! First reports of LTE around Puget Sound. I've had this Galaxy Nexus for about 6 months. It's got LTE but no WiMax. Maybe I'll actually get to see 4G in the notification bar before I have to replace it.
