  1. Well I'm done. After competing another cross country trip and needing to rely heavily on my phone, I had the worst service I have ever experienced with sprint in 17 years.

In markets where they had "completed" their build out such as South Bend Indiana and Louisiana service was pretty bad and consistency much slower than my at&t 4g on the iPad. The kicker was at daytona International Speedway where sprint is a major sponsor and I was roaming the entire time I was there. Unreal and unacceptable.

Back in my home market I can't even download an attachment. I was so excited when I saw LTE and even more so when I saw it expand. Problem is that while it's going on I'm paying a lot for a severe lack of service.

I'll keep following along and let you know the data speed difference. At&t is making me too good an offer to bring my company phones over for me to resist.

    Good luck all.

  2. Easter morning as of 6:45am I'm getting a steady LTE signal averaging 7-12mbps around neshaminy mall in bensalem. It's been consistent for about 2.5 hours. Hopefully it's on for good now... Who knew sprint would be working on Easter, there was no LTE here last night

YAY. They are Def working today. As I'm working in my home office I hear the chime from SCP and here's what I saw.. resydehy.jpgdymyqate.jpg

  3.

I keep trying to pick up LTE in these areas, but it just seems like my phone doesn't have the ability to grab the weaker signals like the SGS3 & especially the Note 2. This is the only drawback to the EVO LTE unit that I've noticed, but I'm still upgrading to the HTC One when it comes out. It seems to have a more robust LTE antenna although I guess only time will tell on that.

You are correct. It seems endemic of the HTC devices. My nephew has the same issue.

  4. Keep one thing in mind. Information comes from the top down. There is a culture of non information at sprint that I have noticed in the past 15 years as a customer with them. It is unlikely to change.

I do applaud the employees who are on here trying to learn more about their product and how it's being applied practically rather than what they are told.

Let's treat them with respect since they are working and doing their job. I have no doubt they know very little and we may have more information then they do at times.

If we respectfully work together and look at this for what it is.... An LTE treasure hunt in Philadelphia.... It can be worthwhile.

For the record I am unhappy that it took so long and at the lack on info. But it's here now so let's move on and enjoy..

    End rant. :o
