  1. Anyone from the Bristol, VA area picking up LTE?  I get LTE on Bristol, TN side of town toward the Bristol Motor Speedway up Volunteer Parkway as you run into Bristol, VA the LTE is gone same way if you drive down the east end of town toward King College no LTE?

I got 4g at VHS football field (tonight), had it around exit 1, and at exit 7 area. It's coming, slowly but surely.

Athens, TN finally, but still nothing lit up yet. Riceville had a sector on it's tower lit up for a couple weeks but Riceville and Calhoun were both down last night.

I was picking up 4g in Seveirville, TN Tuesday when i was there for a golf tourney. I even picked it up while i was in wilderness hotel room. I got 9.4mbps down and 7.7mbps up in the room!!! Was nice to see that area starting to get 4g.

Today I was a bit surprised to see that I got LTE in my office, which is inside a distribution center warehouse!! I moved my phone away from my window and lost LTE and never got it back......argh. I done a speed test while I had though and got a big whopping 2.1Mbps down and 0.17Mbps up....lol

Well I picked up Lte again today in my office, streamed Pandora no problem, no pauses or anything; was like I was listening to a CD....with advertisements of course. :-P

Only indoor experience I've had with it was in a hotel room. With my evo lte it was slightly frustrating. It would randomly cut out and switch to evdo 3g and never switch back with out an airplane mode toggle but with my note 2 it would hold a signal seemingly indefinitely. So if you have a phone with a good antenna you ought to be alright for the most part.

Well today in my office I've stayed connected all day so far *crossing fingers*, let's see how long this will last with my EVO Lte. As they are not supposed to have that great of reception??? I've had no complaints here myself.

  5. I was there a month ago and I can tell you it's a big ole nope. But the 3G wasn't bad in my hotel room.

Yeah, the last time I was in Gatlinburg the 3G was lighting fast, fastest I'd seen for Sprint since I've been with them (2 years). I've seen on Sensorly.com that their is 4G in the Dandridge area and some right before exit 407. So I would think (hope) that it wouldn't be long for the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg areas as I take little trips to that area about 5/6 times a year.

None in Britstol, Tn. Some on the Va side. It looks as though they are working their way towards the track, last time I was there 3G speed was pretty decent, don't know how it will hold up when everyone and their grandma shows up though.

Yeah that's what I'm afraid of, I think last year,(at the 250) I couldn't hardly get any thing to go through. Had full bars, but probably 50,000 people on the network......like a turtle!!!

  7. Found more LTE in the "Tri-cities" area, along interstate 81 I picked up LTE around exit 22 and had it all the way up to exit 26, which was as far as I was going. I'll try to go further some time soon to see how far north on 81 they've got. I got a speed test around mile marker 23/24 of 17.83 Mbps down and 11.27 Mbps up. Seems like sprint is moving along pretty good in the Abingdon/Meadowview area.

NanoVirus have you noticed any LTE in the Bristol area?? I would think they would be close with the race almost here.

  8. Was able to pick up some 4G around the TN/VA state line. Even saw a guy climbing a tower. Tried to map as much as I could, lost 4G once I got close to exit 20 in Va.

On my way to work on interstate 81, I usually get lte just after exit 13 and lose it around exit 19. Around town (Abingdon) is mostly covered, but not the whole town. I haven't been down around the Tn/Va state line lately, that would be nice if they got lte around Bristol area, which I would think they are working on to get the Bristol race track area fired up with lte before the race next month.
