I live on bee ridge and 75. The coverage has always been good. Almost 2 down on 3g at anytime

thanks for the reply. For the past few days my wifes evo4glte has stopped receiving calls and texts. It will make calls and send texts. When you make a call all the text messages suddenly come through. I'm not sure if it's sprint or the phone. The phone has never had any problems before. It was mine prior and is in perfect shape and less than a year old. I talked to sprint and the lady said the 1 tower in my area was only functioning at 70% and that someone would be out to look at it in 72 hours. I'm hoping it's sprint and not the phone. Anyone else having trouble in swfl?

 

saw 10+ ppl including mine Friday that were not making or receiving calls. Texts were coming in 15 minutes late but sent out immediately. I'm in Sarasota. Lte was not working on university Sunday

I'm out on Siesta Key for a work meeting and I saw some NV panels going up on a condo rooftop, just north of the village. was late to the meeting (oops!) so I didn't have time to stop and investigate further, just saw that panels were up but not yet broadcasting.

They must be testing those. A guy told me he had LTE on the beach a week ago

Well it seems the head of this site is really on a long vacation lol i made my payment long ago and still have not been upgraded. I want to know if there is a tower near Bayshore Gardens Parkway and 26th street in Bradenton that will be upgraded. I know there is a sponsor map that shows the closest towers that will be upgraded but i can't see it to find out if there is a tower close to my house or not. Frustrating cause i have drove around and have not seen any towers. I am south just a little from Bayshore Gardens Parkway and 26th street west.

Ok, University was just turned in a couple days ago and that tower is closer to Lakewood Ranch. Its already on Sensorly.

Uni been on for over a week. LWR is right across the highway from the uni tower. I've mapped from Palmer to university in interstate and east and west a little bit on uni

75 and fruitville tower is live and just mapped in Lakewood ranch. I still have good signal down Lakewood ranch Blvd

I know that by word of mouth that some one I know was riding down 70 to arcadia and picked up LTE from the tower just about all the way back in to arcadia i'm assuming that now that they have it in the middle of no ware that they will put it in arcadia.

 

But here we have had bad service with sprint only getting about 2Kb down and not even uploading. But sprint came and fixed it and now we can get anywhere from 20kb to 1Mb. But we have another problem, I have figured out that on the tower is a bunch of dongles and there it's not just sprint on the tower it is AT&T and T-mobile on the tower also and I wonder if that is why it is so slow. And also we cannot load up network.sprint.com for some reason I have consulted with sprint before but with no luck.

Well mine does not seem to be there but i am not good with sensorly but i was watching it go up a point over and over all the way to curuso road on 53rd. It then stopped adding points there. But i know i was connected cause i was getting 4g points till i hit that light.

I mapped it again but still did not show up. Shows that it sent fine. Must be something going on with sensorly. I Did get good speeds on University though.

The one east of Lakewood Ranch is probably the one I'll be on at home. You mean that one will NEVER receive LTE? That likely means I'll never see LTE at my house.

The word is that the surrounding towers overlap the 3g only towers and you're supposed to get lte. How true that is, I don't know

The tower on Cortez and palma sola is gonna be 3g only and the other 3g only tower that's complete is out east of Lakewood ranch

I was shown something called "glance" by some sprint higher ups Tuesday and the work in definitely in progress but more in the Bradenton area for now. There's 2 sites that were recently completed but those 2 sites will be 3g only. Zero completed sites in the area as of Tuesday.

I was equally confused when I has multiple people telling me that their calls were not going thru and they all had some guy picking it up on the other end. This was at the beginning of last week in the Sarasota area

I'd like to believe that backhaul has started. There's been plenty of people complaining about a Mexican guy answering the phone whenever they place a call.
