  1. Are you fully integrated with Google Voice? Sprint HD calling and Google Voice are not compatible.

I am. The other phones on my account that do get HD voice are not, so that makes sense.

  2. Even after the 5.0 upgrade, my phone does not make HD calls. Can anyone confirm if they have been able to with the Note 3? Also, for some reason the upgrade turned off my BC10. i had to re-enable it to get it back on 800mhz.

  3. The Lollipop is update available!  The phone said it had already checked today but it didn't appear until I did a manual update check.

    It looks like it's 5.0.  It's a whopping 920.29MB of a download.

  4. I just got my note 3 and it has 4.4.2 but when i click update it starts to download a 300+MB file. is this the update to 4.4.4? im looking to root this thing so should i wait before i download it?

Yes it is 4.4.4. Towelroot still works so you are fine.

  5. Hey John - I called Sprint everyday during the outage...at first they were telling me it was a "T1" issue so I figured they were adding some additional T1 capacity. Then they told me it was a "Software upgrade" issue. They didn't say as much, but I think it was the DO 1X Advanced software upgrade. The speeds have improved, but I think it is due to extra T1 capacity and software upgrade. The tower in Atlanta and Queen City both have new AT&T fiber run to the tower, but I do not believe the 3G is connected to it yet. I figure crews will show up and connect both 3G and 4G to it. And a side note - The tower in Atlanta has its sectors messed up. The Alpha (North) sector reports the SE location, the Beta (SE) sector reports the SW location and the Gamma (SW) sector is reporting the north location.

They finally fixed the sector locations. I'm so glad, it was messing with my OCD.

  6. To be honest, I was more excited about 800mhz upgrades than I was about 4G. I thought it would be deployed faster than 4G and have a bigger impact on my phones usability (long distance from tower, indoors, etc.) The roll out has been slow for the reasons given above and my GN2 got the 2000 prl and that locked me out of using it at all.
