  1. Are you going to start a thread on Hurricane Michael?

  2. OK, so I was bored on a Sunday afternoon and started lookin around the various places I visit when I have vacation time. One of these places is my home town in South East Texas. I remember way back when, circa 1997, Sprint came to town via UsUnwired. It was great if you were in Beaumont but anytime you went north to the lakes after Silsbee you were roaming. My uncle had a Nextel phone from about 1999-2007 and I remember he never would lose that coverage until Jasper. Today, I found that the highway north outta Beaumont had iDEN towers, while Sprint never built any antenna/towers/cells alon
  3. So now that iDen is shutdown, when can we expect a 800mhz rollout? From my understanding, the equipment is capable and it is as simple as a software upgrade. Is this something that involves a technician visiting the site? Thanks in advance.
  4. Has anyone else here had this problem today? My business account has 12 lines, almost of which are legacy Nextel lines. Since this morning, when I try to call any of these numbers I get a message that the line was part of Nextel and wasn't converted to the new Sprint network when the Nextel network was shut down. This is completely untrue, as some of these lines were converted to Sprint as long as 3 years ago! This is a huge issue; I've tried to call Sprint but without any success reaching an operator. Anyone know something?
  5. AT&T is making it known that it is going to try to capitalize on Sprint's iDEN shutdown over the next year. http://www.att.com/gen/press-room?pid=22974&cdvn=news&newsarticleid=34695&mapcode=consumer|enterprise AJ
