There has been speculation over the 4/29 Sprint event named "Hear It For Yourself" that it will be the official launch of HD Voice service on the network. There may be other topics discussed such as WiFi calling and VoLTE roadmap discussion etc. Recode is reporting that Spotify and Sprint will announce a partnership supporting carrier billing and possibly discounts for premium Spotify service. http://recode.net/2014/04/11/sprint-and-spotify-plan-to-partner-up/

So now that iDen is shutdown, when can we expect a 800mhz rollout? From my understanding, the equipment is capable and it is as simple as a software upgrade. Is this something that involves a technician visiting the site? Thanks in advance.

The iPhone 5 goes back to a multi-model scheme thanks to the disparate bunch of LTE bands everyone is using. I took a look at the breakdown, as well as at the non-LTE radios, to see what this would mean for Sprint... First, what bands does each iPhone support?
