I've yet to experience an issue with interference in the earpiece during conversations. And while the Samsung AMOLED screens are nice, the LCD technology LG has employed on this handset is the same as what they use in their HDTV displays. The colors are as sharp as I've seen on anything, and not overly saturated, either. As for the camera - I really haven't had an issue with mine. Pictures are clear and crisp, and recordings are stunning with HD resolution.

I've had my Optimus G since Thanksgiving, and I love it. The 1.5GHz quad-core CPU chews through just about anything I throw at it, and as long as I keep the use at a moderate level, battery life lasts 10-12 hours. Graphics on the True HD IPS+ LCD screen are nothing short of amazing - you really appreciate that 1280x768 resolution when you're spending some quality time with Netflix or Hulu. Great phone for the money, and a solid performer against other high-end Android offerings.
  3. Good points. I've only been trying this for a week, so it stands to reason I'm just not in the right area at the right time. Thanks for the feedback.
  4. I have not been able to detect a LTE reading once with my LG Optimus G. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong when running Sensorly, but all I am able to see are 2G/3G points. I've even attempted running the LTE Discovery app that cycles Airplane mode in an attempt to force the radio to receive the LTE signal. Does anyone have any ideas on what else I can try?
  5. Hello! Just joined, but plan to contribute some Sensorly readings/mappings in the coming weeks. Excited about the LTE sightings in Blaine/Coon Rapids as I'm up there for work 1-2 days / week. Tried out LTE for the first time when I was in Chicago over the holidays, but wasn't in the best area for coverage. I read the post where someone noticed NV equipment on the tower by 36 & Rice in Roseville - hopefully that tower goes live soon. Practically just up the street from where I live, so I'm hoping to see some good coverage in that area.
